Mar 7th 2012 9:56AM So who exactly is level 1-80 for now? The bulk of it is already a ghost town on most servers anyway. Why would a new subscriber want to start at level 1 when anyone else who played in the past get a free pass to level 80?
Blizzard is pushing conflicting messages here and every time I check in to see what is happening in Azeroth I see a more fractured world that before. Look Blizz... if the "real" game only starts at end game and you are now pushing everyone to start 5 levels from end then lob off those first 80 levels that you just freaking remade for Cataclysm. Honestly I don't see why they picked level 80, might as well just dropped everyone back in at 85 decked with previous tier gear epics equipped... not much difference at this point.
Mar 6th 2012 4:26PM Good idea but... no thanks.
Mar 5th 2012 3:25PM I flip flop. If its a game I heavily invest in I will roll male and female toons for visual variety. I guess I usually start with males though so I guess my vote gets tossed in the "same gender" pile.
Mar 4th 2012 9:23PM No biggie, if you sub you probably have the tp to snag this. If you play a la carte and play enough you actually need this make the one time purchase which will help support the game.
Feb 27th 2012 2:14PM This game kinda quietly chugs along and gets better and better. The guild I'm in says recruitment is up A LOT so I think a few people are starting to pay attention to DDO due to this upcoming expansion which is great. Solid game for those that like dungeons with traps / puzzles and fairly complex character builds.
Feb 24th 2012 10:49AM Liking the "quality of life improvements". This game has slowwwly hooked me over the last 6 years as they have slowwwwly improved it haha. I've recently returned and there are already enough "quality of life improvements" to keep me around through the expansion. Hopefully Turbine will get the druid class and FR right :P
Feb 17th 2012 8:36AM DDO. The heavily instanced gameplay was jarring coming from WOW / LOTRO and the character customization was fun but a bit overwhelming for someone new to D&D. Recently though I gave it another shot and found a good guild and am having a blast.
Feb 15th 2012 12:13PM Investors just like hearing things like "console version in the works". I wouldn't worry about it being dumbed down or ever happening.
Feb 2nd 2012 9:06AM How is EA and Bioware going to handle this game in non english speaking countries? Have they, or are they going to do all that voice dialog in other languages?
Jan 19th 2012 2:18PM Thats funny everytime I play I end up wasting 30 minutes cause the team I'm on uses a different set of rules.
1)Please.... more fighting mid.
2) Zerg, by yourself, you can do it!
3) Never group up or assist the flag carrier.
4) Do not send heals to help offense get the flag back, EVER!
5) Everyone stay on D when the game is tied, especially when the other team just made last cap.
6) Sit as long as possible in graveyard once rezzed.
7) Flag carriers don't forget to mount up once you exit enemy base.
8) Focus on the flag carrier, that healer won't be able to keep up with your amazing dps.
9) Always attack what's been CC'd. Sheeped, sapped, hexed, you name it, that is your focus!
10) Do NOT protect your healers, but please yell over /bg "Can we get some REAL healz in heres!"
