Mar 26th 2008 2:46PM "Black Temple looks to be made with CH in mind."
If one takes a stroll down the alley of priest forums, one can easily hear the shouts of 'Circle of Healing' being the primary (almost over-powered) healing spell for Black Temple. Their single-track mindedness may be a big factor behind their successes; however, that would also entail that they are not fully aware of the capabilities of some of the classes.
Mar 14th 2008 8:01PM Even though I am a raiding holy priest who, from time to time, likes to dabble in the arena using the disc spec, I can understand the dilemma shadow priests have. Let's face it; majority of the people enjoy the infliction of damage (a la dps) aspect of the game. If Blizzard created an entire dps pvp set for priests, there is an admittance on their part of a possibly viable dps spec. However, now they seem to be giving a message to existing shadow priests that they were wrong to invest in that gear.
In short, if you rolled a priest, like to do arena and enjoy doing dps, you are screwed.... for now.
Mar 5th 2008 9:45PM An overwhelming majority of the priests in higher brackets is heavy disc. specced. The whining you refer to is mostly done by shadow priests who do have survivability issues. Even I have to change specs between holy and disc frequently to accommodate raiding and arenas.
Feb 27th 2008 12:41PM I recently did the Scryer version of 'Turning Point' where one has to slain Socrethar and I must say it was quite fun to two-man (holy priest, fire mage) it. At first, we thought that it may not be possible to do it without a proper tank but due to scarcity of time, we just went ahead and knocked him down.
Feb 26th 2008 4:32PM In all fairness, towards the end the author was pretty clear on the intent and purpose behind the article. Any decent healer would have caught on quite at the beginning.
Still, if someone is having a hard time discerning the humor then I am afraid you may want to undergo the surgery and put that funny bone back in again.
Feb 22nd 2008 2:23PM Unfortunate as it say sound but latency plays a role in avoiding Murmur's sonic boom. If your latency is not low enough and you failed to move right after the cast of sonic boom, you'll get hit even if you are physically outside the circle of death.
I prefer running back out and running back in method but I have done it the other way as well. If priests time their prayer of healing to hit just after sonic boom, the healing becomes a cake for that fight.
