Jul 28th 2009 6:20AM Remember if it wasn't for the "hardcore" players this game would have died long ago.

The changes are nice, the revision of the 25 vs 10 heroic/normal modes is another slap in the face to raid guilds.

Dk's may be getting a well deserved nerf but as a raiding feral druid it's similar to what we went through and it was overall a buff even though it looks like a nerf.

Hunters deterrence is ok, but it's still the short end of the stick when you think about other classes "reduce/immune" damage abilities. but at least it'll help a little more in a PvP situation.

But I'm waiting till they fix the warlocks/paladins/rogues/Dks 2-3 shotting a 980 resilience hunter. that would be nice.

how about reducing time on PvP fear effects and a decent DR on stuns.

When I started WoW i wasn't much of a raider. I loved leveling alts, now the ease of it sickens me. and I have had many friends start playing after BC only to get bored because of the ease of the leveling. World of Warcraft got to where it is by being difficult and pretty open ended, but now it's turning into like so many of those free MMo's that are just farm, farm, grind, farm.

Overall I have noticed within my guild people looking for something new because of the ease of the game. whether they raid or don't. the game is getting too easy, and Casuals shouldn't care whether they have purples on their backs or not. they aren't there for the content, just an escape. The hard core group which as I have seen put are a "small minority" if that's the case why are people constantly talking about raiding this or that.

And the whole Gear score thing that so many casuals are currently worried about doesn't mean you even have the ability to face the raid bosses in VoA. I have seen countless times gear score raids that wipe on trash in vaults.

changes are good. some more than others. but we will still pay the 15 a month and keep playing even if we are constantly QQing over what changes are made.

I'm just hoping they will get it to a better balance like it was in Burning Crusade. That I feel was the best balancing of classes in PvP, and the best variety for PvE specs.

Jul 28th 2009 4:50AM 14 times... yeah that's a little much but I know if I had it mailed to me I would wait until the horde started raiding a city leader walk into the middle of them and blow it. It would be the best use for that particular item. I might have used it on a raid boss, but not likely. it's too much fun figuring out what works best for your raid to be honest. but for killing horde that raid cities... that's EPIC.

Cleavage buffed on PTR {WoW}

Mar 6th 2008 6:18AM I play a feral druid, tank multiple mobs and rarely ever lose one, or hit the CC'd one. it's called SKILL, and paying ATTENTION to your surroundings. I also play a hunter, just because I can't use Multishot on a few trash pulls, who cares, it's the boss you need to be pumping multishots into.
Slowly this game will be simplified into 8 skills only, that are usable. oh wait that's so simple might as well call it Guild Wars. Seriously learn the proper way to hold Agro, and control your over pumped hormones and CC doesn't get broke.

First they take away the Epicness of purple rated gear, now they are making it so any idiot can play.

Guess the patch 2.4 release date and win! {WoW}

Feb 26th 2008 7:35AM I agree with you Don, arenas and the "free" epics of PvP have turned and killed PVE. it's funny how arena gear is in the top rankings for most classes as gear to get since it's about the best to get. and yet Blizz doesn't see this as an issue and removes attunements of the raid instances because "not enough people are going" Why should they when they can get about the best gear in the game in PvP.

PvP is ruining the game I enjoy =( sad panda.

Feb 26th 2008 7:30AM Personally if they wanted to fix warlocks, take away life siphon, that is what truely breaks them in PvP, hey I'm going to life tap almost all my health, throw fear, howl of terror and deathcoil, while dotting and using siphon life, boom, lots of mana and almost full health with dead opponent.

Honestly I don't think Blizz thinks before they start thinking of new skills. or changing the old ones.

Just remember this is just a change while preparing for the next expansion, unfortunatly it hurts the class for now, but it will be ratified soon enough.

Hybrid Theory: What's a hybrid? v2.0 {WoW}

Feb 26th 2008 7:20AM Hybrids are a great class, I'm a feral Druid, MT for our guild which is the highest progressed guild for my faction. I can heal (highly gimped), and put out about 1000dps with my current gear.

Hybrids to me are supposed to be able to do more than one thing, like back at level 40 as feral spec, my heals were pretty good, I could tank, and melee dps, as you get to 70 there isn't much of a hybrid there within your tree of choice. the class is technically a hybrid but you can't do anything but what your spec is.

As far as Viability, Honestly I hated PreTBC, everything for druid was +heal. all specs are now Viable (even ret) in 25 man content with the proper grouping, unfortunatly some people don't understand how to put groups together to get the most benefit of the hybrid class.

That goes for the DPS warriors and Shadow priests and Disip priests as well. Ret pallies are great for Keeping up the judgements fo your hunters and mages can keep their mana up, the do ok DPS, not chart toppers, but really it's about the synergy of the raid and fulfilling a function. sure you don't want 3 ret pallies in a 25 man, just like you don't want 2-3 survival hunters or 2-3 moonkin and you don't really want more than 2 feral druids unless your really melee heavy.

Without specs Rogues, mages, and warlocks are just DPS classes the rest fit hybrid.

The game has drastically changed, and will change more. I love our Pally tanks (we have 2) they are great for some fights, I'm better for some fights and warriors are better for some. but it also depends on the skills of the players as to wether they are hybrid or not.

We have a Moonkin, and well they aren't a hybrid, they are just dps, I have never seen them pop from form and throw heals as all our other hybrid classes have.

A true Hybrid is in the Player not the class. sure Class gives the utility, but a Player makes a class a hybrid.

and Technically couldn't a warlock who can tank, heal themselves and do damage be a hybrid? What about the Mage tank for gruuls? well that puts them in the hybrid slot.
oh yeah hunters can tank too, They tank the bow on Keal'thas and can tank the Shaman in Gruul's in some cases.

Hybrids are in the Player ability not the class ability to be a true hybrid.

Guildwatch: Ninja happens {WoW}

Feb 22nd 2008 2:57AM Echoes of Azeroth on Thorium Brotherhood dropped Fathom-Lord Karathress and Leotheras the Blind in SSC to move the guild progression in SSC to 5/6, then went to take out Void Reaver and Al'ar and finished off the night with Solarian and an Alliance first on the server; a full clear of Zul'Aman. Nice job, that's quite a night.

Is not correct, But Grats EoA. They are the second allaince guild to full clear ZA.
