Jun 13th 2008 12:28AM Wow man. Very very well written rant. I havnt enjoyed a post more than this one in a long time. Well done, prepared, and very informative! I would read again! A++++
Jun 11th 2008 11:18PM I bought the 40k trinket with no regret. I figure i will get a LOT of use out of it even through wotlk content. Lots of people still use the 5minute trinket which was from before BC.
I was using the 5 minute trinket, but when I saw the epic trinket with 40 resilience and 2 minute cooldown, i peed my pants and grinded honor for 3 days to get it. It was well worth it.
May 19th 2008 11:24PM When I was younger, I was living in the epicenter of the northridge earthquake when it hit LA. It was only a 6.6 earthquake, but nearly every building fell down. I remember driving around with my parents the day after the earthquake and all the buildings next door to the one i lived in had fallen. Luckily my building didnt fall, but it was condemned from living in from that week on (it was about to fall down). This was a 6.6 earthquake with american building standards. Almost every building fell. Go look on google for northridge earthquake. Now if you look at the pictures of the 7.9 chinese earthquake, its a miracle that there are any buildings left at all! A 7.9 earthquake is (excuse my math) roughly 50 times stronger than a 6.6 earthquake. Very few countrys in the world have standards that require them to build for an earthquake of 7-8 magnitude. I think Japan/Tokyo might be the only one infact.
May 19th 2008 7:27PM Between the day that the earthquake happened until the day of 'public mourning', which started yesterday, the majority of wow players in china spent their time in the church of stormwind talking about their fallen guild mates and holding funerals. There are lots of videos on chinese video portals of hundreds of people stuffed in stormwind church all in a /kneel pose as they took turns talking about their friends that died.
May 3rd 2008 12:02AM I play from china too, and I play on chinese and american servers. On chinese servers i get an average ping of around 450 ms, and on american servers i get 400 ms. Im actually getting better ping on american servers even though im in china. Weird huh?

I live in china because i personally consider it a better, freer place to live. I dont fear police here (be it harassing me, or pulling me over for speeding). I can walk around at midnight by myself and I dont fear being mugged. I never worry about guns, getting stabbed, or robbery. Everyone is honest and things are cheap here. It most definetly is a nice place to live.
Mar 10th 2008 9:30AM I currently live in china and i have asked several people about why pandarens arent currently in the game. It boils down to this: The chinese are still sore about what the japanese did to nanjing during world war 2 and Pandas are specific only to china. So what they are saying is this: They dont want to have a chinese-originating animal to be related with japanese arts. The clothes that pandarens wear are styled after the japanese, and so are the katanas which the pandarens use.
Feb 24th 2008 7:01PM I have honestly never seen a summary of a plot line done this well. Most of the 'official' history is bland, and boring and makes you shift through a bunch of crap to find out whats going on. But you, my friend, make the story come out in complete and utter clarity. I applaud you and hope for more of this type of article written by you.
