Jul 16th 2008 4:00AM They removed the instacast Beastcoil because it would of made it impossible for Feral Druids to fight Hunters (yes some Druids do spec other than resto :P). Shape shifting resets DR on fear (as far as I’m aware, though I must admit I’ve never tested it), only way to get back to a hunter after a fear is to shape shift out of the inevitable slow which would just lead to being Beastcoiled again until dead.
No class should have an instacast, no cooldown, 30 yard range, reliable CC against another (and before you bring up cyclone – thats 20 yard range, lasts 6 seconds, isn’t instacast and is very difficult to use as a Feral).
Jun 18th 2008 9:42AM I've almost completely stopped PvP because of this issue. I don't think I've been in a single EoTS or AB since I hit 70 on my server where the Horde weren't out numbered by the Alliance at the start.
Apr 8th 2008 11:12AM I have to ask, what mod puts murlocks at the side of the actionbar?
Feb 26th 2008 6:35AM I play WoW with my girlfriend. We have two Ally 70s we (mostly) levelled together (me:Warrior, her:Druid) and we're now leveling up a set of Horde alts together (me:Rogue, her:Priest). The only time we've had a problem is that at first when we started playing together I had a Hunter but around 45 I decided it was boring and had to powerlevel a Warrior (which took a bit over a week, she wasn’t happy we couldn’t play together for that time) to catch up with her Druid.
Other than that it's great fun playing together, much more involving than watching TV. The rule is no playing the characters when we’re not together, so we’re always at the same level. If we want to play when the other isn’t there we have alts for that. If you find solo quests too easy as a group of two make them harder with bigger pulls, as for group quests we’ve found very few that we couldn’t complete between the two of us.
