Jul 7th 2008 9:52AM One of the problems with guilds i see is having Tanks as guild leaders. Tanks make great raid leaders, don't get me wrong. But having to deal with the internal politics, the drama, guild bank etc ASWELL as sorting out raids, tactics and the like gets pretty damn stressful.
As for what to do with yourself, don't underestimate the need for good tanks. And don't rule out applying to t6 guilds in need of tanks. They can literally gear you up for sunwell in about a week.
Best of luck.
Feb 28th 2008 5:43PM That's not quite in the spirit of this article though, is it. ;) What if he gets to 80 and finds he would rather play the Human again...
Alas, i've recently found myself hacked. My pipedream is that they're able to make server backups for characters/gear. Even once a week at the restarts. I know it's possible to obtain a lot of gear in a week, but it'd save having to reenter the game naked while waiting a further few weeks for item reimbursement. (I've not even got access to my account yet Q_Q)
Feb 26th 2008 10:24AM Pretty inspiring stuff.
I find it more than a little odd that in a world where all you read about in the news are kids acting like thugs, poor parenting and games such as wow being blamed for violence in general, that i have to turn to wowinsider to hear an example of responsible parents raising a smart, articulate and all-round good-seeming kid.
Obviously the reason why bad kids are reported on so much is cuz no-one would ever write an article in a newspaper to do with something optimistic... but it's still cool to be reminded.
