Jul 11th 2008 4:42AM This is just an idea so don't flame me I beg.
1. More multi-stage boss fights. Give the warrior a stage he can excell at, then get a threat restart with a new stage where the druid holds his own really well, same again with high magic AOE for the Death Knight to handle.
2. Make bosses "tougher" but introduce a threat transfer mechanic to tanks. Hunters have something similar. But imagine a boss that's so bad, or puts on so many debuffs the tank can't take it, so he passes the threat on to warrior No. 2 in a sort of "No not me! Hit him instead!" Meanwhile the first tank recovers.
The second idea I like more, as it gives the hillarious potential for tanks to get revenge on the idiots in PUGs who annoy them. If that damn hunter keeps taking aggro in pulls, send ALL the mobs his way on the next encounter. Muahaha.
Jun 17th 2008 9:37AM I'm from the EU, but I'm making the comment anyway:
"True salesmen till the end they asked together 'Are you paying too much for your Mount Insurance?'"
Jun 5th 2008 5:55AM I wonder if it's anything to do with Beta registration? They keep saying on the login page "No registration available but check the news section for updates".
Jun 3rd 2008 8:05AM I hear a lot of people crying that if DKs start at 225 or similar in professions it'll be unfair. "Let them level up from 1!" they cry. It's a little immature. For starters I've already had about 5 level 70s. I want to switch my main to a DK. I've put in the work several times before, I don't see why I should need to do it again to earn it. I want to be a Death Knight and see Northrend as soon as possible. The idea that Death Knight players get an easy ride is not well thought out, considering you already have to have an equivalent or higher level character to create one.
Jun 3rd 2008 5:23AM Make it into a league system. It should be easy this way to seperate those with Season 2 gear to those with Season 3.
Jun 2nd 2008 8:07AM "What kind of character starts good, turns evil, then turns good again"
May 27th 2008 4:31AM I've been playing WoW since the launch. Different friends have yanked me from server to server, and I've had a few level 70 Rogues.
I started a new Paladin about a week ago and I'm having so much fun. It's not only the class mechanics though, it's the fact I'm not racing to level. I've hit 70, I've seen all the content I want to see before the expansion, and I just want to have FUN.
I've got a tiny level 13 blood elf, relaxing whilst I fish, cook, make potions... I realised, it's only a game. People should actually act like it, not use it as an excuse for bad behaviour. Wiping your group to vent your anger is incredibly immature and selfish. Someone who recognises it's only a game would have enjoyed the run, regardless of what dropped.
May 13th 2008 8:53AM Minimum of 10K to give my new Death Knight the best possible start in life. The mount upgrade quests can be expensive, and then there's professions to level, flying mounts, gems... I look at it like this for mounts.
At level 40: 100g (60% mount) was a fair challenge, needed you to watch your spending.
At level 60: 100g was easy, 1000g (100% mount) was a challenge.
At level 70: 100g was nothing, 1000g was easy, 2000g was a bit of work. Depended how you went about getting your 100% mount that decided how much more you needed for 60% Flyer.
At level 70e: 5000g is still a fairly big haul, even with daily quests. (280% Flyer.)
So my question is this:
At level 80: What will be the target amount, and what will it be for?
My prediction: It seems to vary between factors of 5 and 10. Do not be suprised to find you easily have 5000g by the time you hit 80, and you'll need 25,000g for whatever gold black-hole they've come up with then. I imagine it'll be these "multi-person" mounts I've heard about.
And to finish off, I'd love to see an article speculating on what profressions may be of benefit to the Death Knights, including Inscription.
Apr 1st 2008 7:42AM When you're alliance and you see horde say "lol" it comes up as "kek"
Apr 1st 2008 4:05AM In the lore, alliances have always been forged and broken. I'd love to see a Blizz post about how Tauren are now an Alliance race and gnomes are "for the horde!"
