Jul 10th 2009 11:11AM I find the best way, personally, to learn a fight is by having it explained over Vent. It also helps when everyone in the guild is at the same level, per se, which means people are extremely patient on fights we're new to. We are told to research bosses on our own time, though, but I don't find that nearly as helpful as having the raid leader explain it to us. It also helps that whoever's explaining can tell people individually what they should be doing, which I find helps us get the boss down a little more easily.
Now I need to go look up the Auriaya fight. *grumble*
Jun 25th 2009 8:09PM Hehe, it's showing my 80 rogue as level 55, complete with all the gear he was wearing back then. I was running around with points in CQC when I was using swords =[
Jun 20th 2009 8:02PM I had this awhile ago, and after deleting my addon folder (can't remember why), I couldn't remember what this was called. Thanks for reminding me. :)
Jun 19th 2009 8:14AM I'd use it if I could work it out. I tried to get onto it last time is was open, and couldn't for the life of me figure out what I was supposed to do.
Jun 14th 2009 10:35AM This. I can't see how you could justify product placement in WoW; it's understandable in games that are set on Earth, in a fitting timeframe, for example I think it works well in racing games, where it can add to the immersion and so on, but it just doesn't make sense to have it in WoW.
Jun 12th 2009 10:08PM I got a mail like that today; the link ended in an .exe, so it was quite obvious what it was. The mail got replaced by a mail from Blizzard Customer Support later on, which was unexpected.
May 19th 2009 11:31AM Damn, using Tricks of The Trade on npcs made levelling so much easier.
Nov 30th 2008 5:19PM It's April 1st already?
...Wait a minute
Nov 26th 2008 1:45PM @shawn: Sounds like a 10 year old wrote *that*.
Nov 14th 2008 12:40PM I don't get it, Joystiq.
Someone accomplishes something in a game, and just because it takes most people slightly longer to do what he/she did, you assume they've never left their house.
How do you know that they hardly ever play, and just got bored of doing whatever they normally do and decided to rush to level 80?
I understand that 70-80 in a day or so seems like an impossible task to most of you (and to myself, admittedly, I found getting from level 1 to 10 in a day pretty hard to do), but, really, I don't see how you can just accuse people of having no life on the basis that they spent a few hours playing a game.spent a few hours playing a game.
