May 14th 2008 5:02PM I see your point, so I think the solution should be on an opt-in basis only. As in this official interface would only track your alts, and possibly only certain alts-if you opt in. Otherwise you are not a participant by default. It will probably lower participation into this significantly (As many people leave things as is rather than changing, just look at the differences in terms of participants between the US's opt-in and Europe's opt-out policies for organ donors)
Apr 21st 2008 12:23AM First off, the horrible image quality is always something for one to question-if you can take pictures, why not make them high quality? Unless you don't want them to be carefully scrutinized that is.
I'd eat my rogue if it wasn't photoshopped, they sure do look like the worst jobs I've ever seen.
Apr 20th 2008 12:24AM "I really dont understand why Blizzard dont code in a set of rules changing abilities when you zone into an arena. This would stop stupid PvP nerfs affecting the PvE game whilst keeping the PvP game balanced."
They do. The water nurf would be an example.
I disagree heavily with this stance. First off, Blizzard is trying to expand World PvP so this would need to take place outside of arenas-what, should we make PvP balancing nurfs not occur only in instances? Second it would make for a VERY confusing game. It sounds good on paper, but how much would somebody enjoy WoW if they had to remember all the differences in PvP and PvE for their abilities?
Apr 14th 2008 1:06PM Yes, but it was my first character. So my decision in choosing a realm basically consisted of choosing "any PvP server".
Apr 14th 2008 12:39AM I think the spirit of this question is excellent. Personally, I think I would rephrase it differently. "How you feel when Blizzard is intruding on Addons' grounds when they choose to implement features that have or are being developed by addons?"
It's always like this with programs or software that support addon or plugin capability. Sometimes, the third-party addition gets so popular that it's core features are implemented by the main products, thus resulting in the plugin's drop of its usefulness.
Apr 14th 2008 12:35AM Wonderful, more news about realms that are far past P2. Hate to sound like I'm QQing, but I'm just a little bit resentful-afterall I'm in the backwaters of Blood Furnace.
Apr 14th 2008 12:31AM I totally agree, I'm actually marveling at how much screen space is lost, especially considering it's mostly empty space. Frankly, I consider that to be an unacceptable tradeoff.
Apr 12th 2008 9:42PM But that's the thing! See, the different healing abilities of Paladins, Druids, Shamans and Priests are precisely what differentiates their roles. I recall a previous article that broke down each of the healing classes into categories that showed that each class excels in different encounters/situations.
Apr 12th 2008 2:03PM I do think calling him a rtard is harsh, and your arrogant attitude is a bit unjustified here. I think what should be a better response to Seajay's post is that while keyloggers CAN compromise you regardless of whether you use the clipboard, not all do-but it would not be a good idea to believe that using the clipboard would offer you protection against keyloggers.
