Apr 1st 2012 6:39PM It's the same graphic but it's projected straight upwards. So the races that used to stick their hand out the wrong way now do it right, and vice-verse. :) For the time being, at least.
Mar 30th 2012 9:12AM I hate it too, it just sounds odd.
Is it an American thing? I've only ever read it on fansites, I never see anyone use it in-game (EU servers).
I tend to go with "characters", or sometimes "guys" too.
Feb 1st 2012 5:57AM I know Wrath was considered whack-a-mole, but there's a reason whack-a-mole has survived through the ages! :D
On a slightly more serious note, I healed 10-mans in Wrath but due to a new job I have only healed heroic 5-mans in Cata.
It just doesn't feel much fun to me now. In Wrath, since I only had 10-man gear, I was never at the point where mana was a complete non-issue. It was less of an issue than it is now but I still had to take measures and watch what I was casting.
Now, I feel weak. I feel like my spells lack impact and that I am constantly being nerfed due to high-geared players in their heroics. And the constant changing of paladin spells and talents... urgh.
Obviously YMMV but I've felt a lot better going back to my hunter.
Oct 22nd 2011 4:56PM Third panelist from the left is incredibly cute. :S
Nov 26th 2010 12:59PM He might get away with being such a preachy ass if his stuff was actually funny.
I mean, what was the point of that?
Nov 21st 2010 12:08PM So Teldrassil is still a stump? I know there's a portal but I'm assuming you can fly right up. Have they changed it lore-wise in order to make it fly-to-able? Or should we just turn a blind eye? :)
Oct 23rd 2010 3:13PM Some pretty awful questions. Hoping for some real explorative questions instead of obscure personal bitchfits.
Sep 19th 2010 2:36PM FIRST posts are annoying whether they were actually the first post or not.
Jul 7th 2010 1:31PM Yay, I like this. At least, it has potential to be great.
Getting to level 10 on a new char is pretty cool, but that "first talent point" feeling tends to diminish after you got your uh... 1% damage increase or whatever. Woo?
We may lose talents but we will not neccessarily lose their effect. We'll make up for these "losses" with innate bonuses, etc. If you've thought of a potential problem then they've probably thought of it too.
This should mean much more enjoyable leveling, and hopefully will live up to their mission of making talents fun / interesting. After seeing what the Beta was throwing out so far, I was very disappointed. This should change that.
People hate change. They will bitch and whine, and then they will get used to it.
Jun 21st 2010 5:58PM I agree with this to an extent and to set the bar so high (i.e. 4 lockouts) was a bad idea, and they probably didn't take into account how obsessive many people would be. However I still believe that ultimately the player has to make these decisions for themselves instead of acting like they are drones, at the mercy of every single raid lockout.
There is no real obligation, use some self-control, as an individual and as a guild.
