Nov 25th 2008 12:29AM Exactly - throw totem.
Even as enhancement I am loathe to lose Flametounge to get AoE.
Nov 8th 2008 12:44AM Do you think they could add a cast time to subsequent casts?
1st cast - insta
2nd cast - 1 second
3rd cast - 2 seconds
Sep 25th 2008 3:27PM One mechanic that I've always believed should exist (much akin to mages being able to eat/drink faster) is that Shaman should get 15-20% increased affect from totem buffs, or even totems they themselves drop.
It could be encorporated into the 50pt talent. Or it could be a passively learned talent at 'x' level. It could boost the meaningfulness of totems at lower levels.
Sep 25th 2008 3:20PM This could be done by allowing "Totemic Call" to preserve the cooldowns of all totems it calls, then simply clicking Totemic Call again would place them all down instantly for a % mana cost (or maybe just the loss of the mana you redeemed by recalling them). Seems simple and doable.
Jun 2nd 2008 6:29PM I think that there's a lot of potential to make mid-level more like end-game. I know the biggest change for me, and possibly the reason so many people start alts - is the disappearance of the XP bar and your biggest cue that you were progressing.
Imagine the change in perspective if there were, for instance, two Goldshire Dailies for lvls 10-30 that make Goldshire last for more than, hmm, idk fifteen minutes in the experienced leveller's progression? You'd learn some of the end-game methodologies and the transition would be a lot easier.
May 22nd 2008 7:16PM Another melee resisted fear.

May 22nd 2008 5:41PM It's the magical stirring rod that makes it taste SOOOO GOOOD
May 21st 2008 6:00PM "a dearth of frost-resistant..."
"a bevy of frost-resistant.."
You got the meanings backwards.
May 20th 2008 8:12PM My only wish was that it were five times as long and milked each motif further, so good - gave me chills.
May 15th 2008 7:32PM This could actually be because the DeathKnight may excel where the Shaman is only marginally buffed in an odd vanity-spec. Imagine a full spell-dps DK dual wielding two Prince's Mindblades each with +40 enchants, or something similar.
