Ghostcrawler explains spec-specific quest rewards in MoP {WoW}

Apr 1st 2012 4:34PM I also meant to say/ask...what happens when NONE of the quest rewards apply to you?

OT - why can't i edit my comment and why didn't i have the option to reply to who i wanted to reply to??? I can reply on page 4 but not page 2?

Apr 1st 2012 4:27PM I agree with Didax, this is the first thing i thought of. If we no longer get to choose the plate or staff option that means that we are going to be penalized monetarily.

What are multiboxers and how do you fight one in PvP? {WoW}

Mar 1st 2012 10:26PM In my experience (which was molten front dailies) three ele shammies simultaneous lava burst was enough to kill me instantly. I run away, I die. I fight back, I die. Plus they were running with a resto shaman...so a group of us might get one down before they one shot each of us in turn. Being camped while trying to do dailies every day for more than a week was not fun. In BC my whole guild would have helped. In Cat 3-5 of us would be complaining in chat only to realize that we were all dying to the same player and that even together it was hopeless.

Breakfast Topic: Do you have NPC loyalty? {WoW}

Aug 30th 2011 5:31PM My characters always flirt with Thrall in the Caverns of Time. It's irreverent and amuses me to no end. Never mind that she's fourth in line at best. xD

Aug 30th 2011 5:21PM Yes Kaja, always. I was kind of upset when she got shoved out of the way for new barracks, but now i just use the banker and auctioneer nearby. Plus the forge and anvil are super convenient. I have fond memories of repairing with her every time i came to the city to train while leveling my main...and all subsequent alts.

Scattered Shots: The patch 4.0.1 hunter -- what you should know {WoW}

Sep 16th 2010 1:14PM I take that to mean that Explosive and Arcane no longer share cooldowns? Right now, the only time i use Arcane is because something is fire resistant, such as elementals. Off to download the PTR i guess...

Scattered Shots: Raiding spec for Hunter pets {WoW}

Jul 29th 2009 3:01AM If he's talking about melee attack power, then he's most likely NOT talking about hunters. His paragraph, i agree very badly worded, seemed to me to say that he was talking about buffing the entire raid, otherwise there is no reason whatsoever to bring up melee. His post is vague and misleading and seems to epitomize your term of "dufus hunter." However, because i didn't mention sunder armor and the dire bear faerie fire, you seem to be insinuating that i am a dufus. i didn't feel the need to talk down to people, i was merely pointing out that i found one aspect of the post to be slightly helpful, and therefore did some more research on it. i never claimed to be an expert, but if someone is writing a blog in this sort of forum, then he or she clearly IS claiming to be an expert, while this particular post is mostly full of garbage, an opinion i see that many share. One can NEVER ignore raid composition, therefore this post falls short. The fact remains that i rarely raid with a druid, if i do i pull out my cat, i usually raid with a warrior now, but sting stacks with sunder armor. i haven't asked around, but i really doubt any of the guild's locks use Curse of Recklessness much in a raid, and if they do, once again i will pull out my cat. Your hostility really wasn't warranted, as i was trying to be positive, rather than negative, but i will say i really don't appreciate being called a dufus when i was merely trying to include some constructive criticism.

Jul 23rd 2009 10:29PM "Now if you're Marksman or Survival, and or if your raid refuses to let you bring T-Rex along with you, then your new best friend will be a Wolf. Wolves have earned their preferred raiding spot with everyone because of their Furious Howl. Furious Howl will increase the melee but more importantly the ranged Attack Power by a whopping 320. There is no way anyone can just sneeze at that."

i sneeze in your general direction. Don't you read Petopia?

"Furious Howl - Increases melee and ranged attack power by [rank] for the wolf and its master for 20 sec."

It DOES NOT buff the entire raid. Personally, i prefer my wasp because:

"Sting - Your wasp stings for [rank] Nature damage, and decreases the armor of the target by 5% for 20 sec. While affected, the target cannot stealth or turn invisible."

i hadn't heard that Sting doesn't stack with Faerie Fire, i guess i'll pull out my cat at the rare times that i raid with a boomkin, but as it is my pet does the highest dps in raids, buffs everyone in the raid, and all without your screwy build.

WoW, Casually: Rating the classes for casuals {WoW}

Jun 5th 2009 7:31AM If you haven't played a hunter past lvl 11, you pretty much haven't played a hunter at all. You can't even get a pet until lvl 10, so you spend most of your time in melee range, which isn't what a hunter is about at all. And pet taking the most damage? Ludicrous, or at least it was when i lvled my hunter, since last i checked you're constantly pulling agro off the pet. i still have this problem with my bear, i thought thunderstomp supposedly enable a pet to tank a party (i've read impressive things to that effect), yet even with misdirect i pull agro off my pet with one shot. i do agree that playing a hunter is pretty complicated once you reach a certain level.
