If you can't make sense of it, you may need the Add-On called "CentsOHumrr"; unfortunately, it's un-recoverable, so if you accidentally deleted it, you're out of luck.

Scattered Shots: Crowd control {WoW}

1. That's to be expected. It's arena - you're playing people, not machines. Besides, they waste mana or a cooldown getting out of it, and you've got another trap to go in 30 seconds.

And if you don't like the CC option, use Immolation Trap and get some damage on that sucker.

2. If they hit you with spells from a distance, and you have to trap them, you put a trap halfway between the two of you, and run backwards until they run into it, or Silencing Shot / trap, or Scatter Shot / Trap. It's really a lot easier than you think it is.

That said, do me a favor and never play your hunter again. You're making my toon roll over in his grave. :P

Scattered Shots: Crowd control {WoW}

Sounds like you don't know too many good hunters.

Also sounds like you don't know what you're talking about, but that's just me.

Here's some advice before you go spouting classist gibberish like that - we have killer AC (for not wearing plate), can pull wayward mobs off of healers (and mages), keep more things trapped than you can shake a stick at, and best of all, serve mobs your way on a platter, and keep them on you, instead of letting them rip us to shreds. Misdirection + Feign Death for the motherlovin' win.

(which, as I recall, Mages can't do, because if they see a mob running towards them, they generally pop Ice Block and wait for somebody to save their popsicle'd behinds)

You're more than welcome to your preference towards Mages. I'm simply saying that, when things go south (and don't act as if they don't - it is not only possible, it is INEVITABLE), you want a good hunter instead of some dress-wearing pansy with a magic stick. Your repair bill will thank you.

Breakfast Topic: Instance for sale {WoW}

Feb 29th 2008 9:15AM There's no doubt in my mind that this could be infinitely more profitable at the higher end of the game.

I mean, how many times has your group wiped because of a bad tank, lousy healer, or craptastic crowd control?

Now imagine if there were a guild... a crack instance unit that was /reported to GM's for a ninja they didn't commit.

Men and women that promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Shattrath underground.

Today, still wanted by the GM's, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if everybody else is running dailies, and if there's no Night Elf Mohawk in sight...

maybe you can hire... THE B-TEAM.

/it's a brilliant idea.
//but then again, nobody wants to be Murdock.
