The return of incoming warrior changes {WoW}

Sep 30th 2008 8:34PM To TWH

Just for the record - Warriors don't have Swipe, and Cleave will only ever hit 2 targets. Go read your QQ's to spot your blatant mistakes.

Prot Pallies need a couple of changes IMO. 1 - Balanced mitigation to match Warriors.
2 - A single target taunt.

I really fail to see why you have anyting else to cry about.

To Mr Rossi regarding Revenge.

One big reason that you'll be just begging for Revenge to light up is Glyph of Revenge, which makes our next Heroic Strike free every time we use it.

Make a simple macro to cue up Heroic Strike on every Revenge and you'll see your single target threat boosted significantly.

Will Wrath really be ready by November 13? {WoW}

Sep 25th 2008 8:35PM I can totally understand your concerns.

One thing you need to keep in perspective here is that this game is constantly changing, and being patched. Everything is subject to change, and something as unimportant as an animation isn't going to ruin what I'm hearing is an absolutely fantastic extension to WoW.

I really do believe Blizzard are going to have it "done when it's done", but there is absolutely no doubt, that there'll be hundreds of changes to be made in a matter of weeks of it's release. Just as there'll be hundreds more a matter of weeks after that... and after that... and after that.

It's an MMORPG, and we pay them a monthly fee to ensure that we get an ever evolving game. This means that the old school style of "you get what's in the box" simply does not apply any more. They could, if they wished, release the entire Wrath expansion through the Blizzard updator and not actually release it on disc, but people feel like they are getting something tangible when they go pick up a box with discs in it.

This whole argument about the Activision merger changing Blizzards standards is nothing more than people putting 2 and 2 together and making 5.

Warrior changes in Beta build 8962 {WoW}

Sep 21st 2008 6:52AM Once again, as seems to be the case generally in "The Care and Feeding of Warriors" you tend to miss extremely important details.

Improved Thunderclap went from 100% damage increase for 3 points to just 30% - Huge nerf that you somehow failed to notice.

Devastate went from 80% of weapon damage to 50% of weapon damage, not quite so big a nerf, and probably a fair balance, but still... you somehow never even noticed.

You don't even mention the fact that avoidance is now subject to diminishing returns...

What do they pay you for again?

Breakfast Topic: Instance for sale {WoW}

Feb 29th 2008 8:17AM it's a sorry state of affairs when someone has to PAY for help in an instance.

If you can't muster up enough friends to get a few groups going then your probably playing the wrong game...
