Apr 5th 2008 1:49PM I dunno if you've noticed, but this is a very "casual" (~10-20 hours a week) website
The elitist jerks theorycrafting forum is that way ->
Mar 21st 2008 6:31PM You guys can just spam your cast button once you near where your latency generally is from the end of a regular cast bar and it works just as well as Quartz
The real advantage to Quartz is when you're in a low DPS or HPS situation and don't want to spam the frostbolt/ice lance/flash of light/etc button to ensure that you get it off
They removed the need to have a /stopspellcasting ahead of your next cast a while back, so having an addon like Quartz no longer actually affects your DPS
Mar 1st 2008 11:04AM IF YOU PLAY WOW EIGHT HOURS A DAY YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH MORE IN-GAME THAN SOMEONE WHO PLAYS TWO HOURS A DAY
Blizzard is NOT leaving you behind; YOU are leaving YOURSELF behind and there's nothing they can do that will decrease that gap other than putting in a cutoff point where there's no more progress to be made which everyone can easily reach
Furthermore, there's absolutely NO reason why you should have to do 10 or 15 or 25 daily quests every day. If you don't have much time to log on, just do one or two! Or none! It doesn't matter! I only have a little bit of time to play WoW during the work week, so I just log on and do the skettis bombing quest and the cooking daily and then log out. It's fine!
