Mar 1st 2012 5:41AM Nitpick: "Total war" doesn't mean "a lot of war everywhere", it means "war where there are no civilians because everyone has become a combatant (or died)". Essentially, unless the capitals themselves are combat zones, you do not have total war.
Mar 1st 2012 5:37AM @Kyrt And even more poorly explained that Stormwind really was sending help, the Defias just kept intercepting it.
Feb 25th 2012 11:13AM Unlike being gay, which you're able to legally hide from a potential employer, you can draw lines of similarity to being a woman with a family. The moment they see the maternity-leave gap in the resumé, they start looking for reasons not to hire you, no matter how good the rest of it looks. And no amount of emphasis on how having a kid has made you a more responsible person actually helps.
Feb 17th 2012 12:59PM I used to consider 3 nights a week to be just around casual/semi-casual. Then I started school and had to cut my WoW-time down or fail my courses. At that point I realised 3 nights a week is very hardcore. It takes up a significant chunk of the week's free hours, especially if it's scheduled. (as opposed to showing up when you feel like it/really have the time)
Feb 10th 2012 1:50PM Not so sure, I rather enjoy the "easy rotation, difficult fight" approach. If I have to pay more attention to my own action bars than the boss, it kind of feels like I'm missing something.
Feb 3rd 2012 5:27PM About that 'scale' thing. Remember, the copyright holders can sue you based on EVERY PERSON WHO LOOKED AT THAT PICTURE. Which can very quickly increase the 'scale' to where you now owe them a million dollars, making the lawsuit very profitable.
Feb 3rd 2012 12:57PM Currently have a desktop gaming rig, but spent most of Wrath on a laptop. I did use external everything though, monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, etc etc, so only real difference was the laptop being quieter.
Jan 26th 2012 12:58PM The Horde *needs* an enemy they can look at and say "If we turn our eyes elsewhere, if we allow our blades to go dull, if we become complacent... they will crush us."
Alliance ain't that enemy. Wrath Alliance, possibly. But the Cata Alliance?
Jan 26th 2012 12:52PM Ebbs and flows, sure. Good stories have lulls, sure.
But for TWO YEARS STRAIGHT?
Glacier-paced storytelling and static world MMO doesn't mesh all that well, and because the Cata world with all its disheartening losses is going to be the thing all new Alliance characters see, even if Alliance kicks ass in the new MoP zones....
Jan 25th 2012 1:33PM Is the comment system being extra misbehaved today? It looks like there's more wayward replies than usual.
