The Lore of Ulduar {WoW}

Jun 7th 2009 5:39PM The Nage weren't made by the titans. They were High Elves that were mutated by a curse of an Old God at the request of Queen Azshara.

Design your own holiday {WoW}

May 14th 2009 10:43PM Every week is Gnome punting week.

The Queue: Uber Epic DPS {WoW}

May 11th 2009 8:38PM "If you're being judged on trash DPS, then something is probably fundamentally wrong with the raid you're in."

The quicker you kill the trash, the faster you can get to the boss, and the more time you have to work on the boss fight.

Be ready to do good DPS on trash, and spec into some AoE damage. Then let loose on the Boss.

Arcane Brilliance: PvPing as a Fire Mage after 3.1 {WoW}

May 10th 2009 1:04PM You can also consider using Imp Scorch Glyph for a fire PvP build. In 1.5 seconds (less with haste) you can negate 5% of the target's resilience. With the state of PvP gear right now, that's a lot.

If you can't crit, you are never going to survive long enough to kill something, or worse yet, out pace a healer.

May 10th 2009 12:49PM Scorchio is a must have for any mage, PvP, or PvE. It tracks mage specific debuffs (Imp Scorch & Winter's Chill, Slow ect.), as well as procs like Hot Streak.

WoWMatrix responds to Curse and WoW Interface {WoW}

May 7th 2009 1:32AM We're talking about three entities that are making money from distributing work that has been donated to an entire community. When any of them start paying the addon developers, then they can claim the high ground.

Paying to use Curse's client is neither logical, or ethical.

WoWMatrix responds to Curse and WoW Interface {WoW}

May 6th 2009 3:18PM I hope that all or most addon developers will make their addons available to WoWMatrix. It's just a better client.

Breakfast Topic: How's Noblegarden going so far? {WoW}

Apr 27th 2009 12:01PM So far, I'm not impressed with a holiday that has me sitting in one spot camping a spawn, trying to out-ninja the ninjas for some 300ish spawns. It's like fishing, but with the chance that the person next to me will take the fish off of my hook.

Great celebration of spring Blizzard. Mind numbing spawn camping for a week.

Ready Check: Is Ulduar too easy? {WoW}

Apr 26th 2009 6:26PM My raid is moving along at a decent pace after loosing a raid day to instance bugs on the second night. We're enjoying being challenged again, and getting server first kills after wiping for an hour or two on a new boss. We have three more bosses before we start on hard modes to get to Algalon. The pace is nice, hopefully this will keep us more occupied and challenged longer than T7.5 did.

I will however be very disappointed when 3.3 rolls around and Arthas is dead in the first week of Icecrown opening.

Varian Wrynn is Right, Part III {WoW}

Apr 26th 2009 6:09PM Varian Wrynn needed to be a strong leader. The Alliance leaders have been almost nonexistent up until now. Thrall is the leader of the entire Horde. The Alliance hasn't had a true leader for quite some time. Tyrande was the strongest faction leader of the bunch, but Darnassus is literally an island unto it's self, so her influence isn't felt in Stormwind or Ironforge. The closest thing they have had to a real faction leader is Jaina, but she's in political limbo, being in Theramore. Until now, she has almost single-handedly kept the peace between sides.

This article shed light on two things for me. First; the Tauren are woefully under developed in the politics of the New Horde. Second; the more phasing is introduced into the game, the more lore moves forward, and the more I like it.
