Nov 22nd 2011 11:50AM I do have faith that whatever they do will be good, but what bothers me about it is how they unveiled it. They didn't say "this is how we fixed it this time, let's try this out for a couple of years" What they did was act like they'd solved the great talent problem once and for all, leaving the nagging question of "what about level 95?"
Nov 22nd 2011 11:14AM I would actually posit that there's something not well thought out by the developers in regard to the talents.
They're going to have to reset them again in 6.0. As it stands we get a new talent every 15 levels, which is great for level 90, but what about levels 95 and 100? Are we supposed to believe that we won't have a new talent to use until WOW 8.0 when we can finally hit level 105?
I think this is incredibly shortsighted for a system that is supposed to take a long view of the game.
Oct 27th 2011 9:07PM my favorite addon is Dominos. I picked it up during BC when there were just too many buttons for me as a prot paladin. Since then it has become my only "cannot play without it" addon.
I hope the nostromo wins a similar place in my heart.
Oct 19th 2011 1:29PM The only title my Orc Hunter will Ever have is Blood Guard. Respectably dead set in the middle of the rankings and pretty rare to see anyone sporting it. I love coming back to him after awhile and getting the occasional "where did you get that title?"
Occasionally I'm sad that my poor shadow priest went MIA last seen near the Pools of Agmar at level 61...she had the Legionnaire title.
Oct 7th 2011 4:10PM I'm wondering if one of the ramifications of this settlement will be the permabanning of anyone who ever used the service.
Think about it. Blizzard has all the records of everyone who ever used the service..not just the ones that the warden caught...there's nowhere to run...no way to hide.
Oct 7th 2011 2:47PM you're forgetting something here....
If you're a healer or tank at heart who is queuing as DPS in order to get through content and gear up on the leftovers you're still reliant on someone who is queuing as a Tank or a Healer. If someone who is queuing as a tank or a healer needs something then you should be passing it to them.
This system only rewards those who step up into the role they intend to perform. It does not penalize you so much as it keeps you from denying needed upgrades to those who are performing needed roles. If the healer/tank in question doesn't need the item then they will pass on it and you've got the chance you should have to get said item.
Oct 4th 2011 8:23PM I sold it maybe two years ago?
See, every DK in the game starts with the Acherus Knight's set. It's not something you can choose a different item in a quest, it's on your body when you zone in the first time. As such a CSR can't say there's no record of you never getting it, the fact that you're playing a DK after the first 2 seconds proves that you got it.
