Mar 31st 2012 12:39PM It was a natural progression for me. I played the RPG type games on my Apple][ and when I got a windows machine I played Enemy Territory and then Battlefield Vietnam. I came across a Guild Wars box in a store and played the beta which I enjoyed quite a bit. I later went on to other games, and I still enjoy trying the new ones in Beta if I can.
Mar 30th 2012 10:43PM Most likely DDO. Eve is tempting because of the size of the environment. However DDO has always been fun and there is reincarnation to extend the playability of characters.
Mar 23rd 2012 1:10AM WoW has used up the North American market and are going after the Asian demographic which is much larger anyhow. Pandas will go over big with the orientals probably. It is no doubt a good move business wise.

DDO is the most fun I have had so far in an MMO. The combat system cant be beat. Building characters can be complex but you have a lot of freedom to mix classes and such. Mistakes are expensive though. If you can get a small static group going it is great.
Mar 17th 2012 11:39PM Thank-you for allowing me to vent my speen about trying to force me into Facebook to get some special reward. So far seems to apply to Funcom and ArenaNet. I have no intention of surrendering my privacy to Facebook for any reason. Allowing achievement tweets from in game is fine as they can be piped to guild pages etc. Tweeting is fairly harmless and G+ lets me manage my privacy. FB is not an option.
Mar 6th 2012 11:26AM Good read. I was not hugely interested in Guild Wars but that interest is growing daily thanks to articles like this.
Mar 6th 2012 10:46AM I don't have anything right now but have applications out for Guild Wars2 and Secret World. I only run one Beta at a time usually.
Mar 4th 2012 12:02PM DDO is my game I will return to time again. And the new update certainly is not hurting their favour. My only problem is to assemble another static group for adventure.
Feb 28th 2012 11:52PM I am puttering around in Al'Kabor it is quant. I am playing a couple of Bards, and having a nice time.
Feb 27th 2012 8:56PM I am quite temped to go the whole hog. With the 11000 point deal for 40% off you would be set in this game for some time to come. I am not sure I would want to start my Druid at level 7, 4 maybe.
