Drama Mamas: Dungeon Finder loot advice {WoW}

Jan 8th 2010 10:14AM I have seen some thing going wrong with the need/greed-mechanism lately. An example: a cloth item drops. The resto druid in our group couldn't need on it, while it was a huge upgrade. Everybody just mindlessly pressed "Disenchant", while the druid had to press "Greed". You guess it, it got sharded which left the druid very frustrated...

BlizzCon 2009: The Future of Tanking {WoW}

Aug 22nd 2009 9:57AM Blizzard is going the right way: all races with the same classes, with NO difference between them anymore. Why not just 1 race with 4 classes: tank, melee DPS, ranged DPS and healer. /sarcasm
But it shows the willingness of Blizzard to put effort in this game: balancing and itemization is not needed anymore, so they can sit back and relax...

Exodus punished for exploiting Yogg-Saron encounter {WoW}

Jun 30th 2009 5:39AM It is about the way you handle things. Exodus bragging about it, saying they were insanely lucky in getting a world first kill, is a very different thing from Ensidia proving a fight that had been done already (but had been buffed to make it more difficult) was not possible without "cheating". People already posted about the difference in cheating and using in-game mechanics, and I agree: purposely using a bug is a very different thing from using available (maybe faulty, and later hot-fixed) game mechanics.
Secondly: Exodus only admitted the exploit after they were caught, and then blamed the whole world (and especially Ensidia). Most laughable, please vist their website.

More Algalon firsts from around the world {WoW}

Jun 11th 2009 9:18AM I remember reading on the Ensidia website that the fight was bugged, and it took 2 weeks for Blizzard to get the bug out of the fight...

Apr 15th 2009 4:46AM Well, that tiger sure looks nice ;-)

Breakfast Topic: Dialing back your game {WoW}

Oct 1st 2008 5:44AM One comment on the raiding though: Blizzard should implement a system where regular updates with new (raid)instances provide for more fun. Now we see a lot of new stuff once in two years, I think it's better to release new instances in existing areas every 3 months (just an example). Casual players will not be stuck in doing the same instances over and over again for multiple years then...

Risen is mad as hell, and they aren't going to take it anymore {WoW}

Mar 10th 2008 6:53AM Can somebody explain to me why the level-cap has to be increased with every expansion? Another question: why remove all attunement-chains when all required instances/fights are being nerfed anyway, and (sufficient) gear can be obtained by PvP or badges.
