Breakfast Topic: The long run {WoW}

Mar 31st 2008 10:25AM It has to be Sun Rock retreat to Shadowprey village,

Blizzard's internal tools need an upgrade {WoW}

Mar 20th 2008 5:48PM Point really is that they wont even tweak the maps they have now. They flat out refuse to do it. The entire game knows about the problems and exploits and yet they dont even fix those let alone create new maps.

They just dont care obviously.

Blizzard's internal tools need an upgrade {WoW}

Mar 20th 2008 5:41PM I just dont understand how they do these things either. The only thing obvious is that they dont put money back into the game and have very small development team.

It sure as heck isnt the complexity of the maps or the fit and finish that they worry about. The maps they now have outside of AV are very very basic and mundane. I am sure a 7th grader could produce maps like we have now if not better.

You know that there are still bugs and exploits in the maps we have now right? Defend them if you feel the need but I dont buy it for a minute that Blizzard just cares that much. To this day you can bypass all of the Horde NPC's and jump a fence in numerous areas. You can get to an unreachable place in WSG.

Frankly it disapoints me that blizzard if anything seems lazy in their devlopment and testing. They still require the playerbase to do most of their policing and bug finding.

Once again my bet is that they dont put money into the game and most of their developers work on upcoming titles rather than WOW the cash cow.

2.4 is not being released today {WoW}

Mar 18th 2008 1:55PM Of course its not today. They want people to test their lame TTR for them.

You think anyone is going to bypass new content to test the TTR?

Even if the patch is finished it wont be out until they get all the free testing done for their tourney.

Belfaire on community policing and GM subjectivity {WoW}

Mar 17th 2008 7:41PM Real simple solution to people who dont understand getting reported for a name.

Dont roll on an RP server.
Pretty simple eh?
I dont care if your friends made you , which is the number one reason. Grow a spine and make them roll something else. Until then if you dont comply you get reported.

It is all about making you fell unwelcome. Number one pet peeve in WOW is lame names and I will spam a GM constantly until action is taken.

Its just my way of telling you to get the hell out.

Forum post of the day: "Long Road Home" {WoW}

Mar 16th 2008 4:11PM More pompous elitist Raiders veiling their QQ;ing.

/yawn

Don't do it, it's a trap {WoW}

Mar 15th 2008 9:43PM I can see it now , the new Addon spammer.

Huge Bold letters across your screen.

HUNTER X LAYS A SNAKE TRAP

Ohh I better get the AOE ready.

Nerf is a nerf is a nerf.
Completely random and uncalled for. What in the hell is Blizzard doing??

Was this some huge staggering issue that needed adressed? I really think not. I am joining the side of the Tin Foil hat wearers in saying that Blizzard intentionally adds these things because some Dopey employee has a vendetta and cant figure out how to beat a snake trap or Freeze trap.

These are just too random and idiotic to be caused by anything else other than Kalgans Warrior hates getting trapped.

What an effin Joke this Dev team has turned into.

Please wont some company make a damn game I can enjoy so I can stop paying these morons.

Does server progression matter? {WoW}

Mar 15th 2008 5:29PM None of it MATTERS.
This is why you Raider Freaks are named as Basement Dwellers and Unemployed Nolifes.

Argh.
Get a freakin life seriously.

Does it matter?
WTF?

Breakfast Topic: Faction Pride {WoW}

Mar 15th 2008 12:19PM Have never once rolled Alliance.
BTW
You ever notice the people who say both sides are the same , and Faction pride is stupid are 95% Alliance?

Alliance in my view have no pride nor honor. I fight for the Horde and could never even visit the oppressors on the other side.

Conquering fear of PvP (before conquering the Alliance) {WoW}

Mar 10th 2008 6:08PM I have never been one to PVP after my very first experience of it in my first online game Ultima Online. PK's were rampant and I was such a poor sheep. I was killed over and over until I couldnt even log in anymore because of the fear and loathing.

That might be the very same thing that turned others onto PVP but it never set well with me and seemed so awful to have these roaming packs of people come slaughter me repeatedly when all I wanted to do was mine some ore.

I found DAOC later after a stint in EQ and I absolutely loved it. The system that game had of seperating the factions and allowing people to still do battle was just amazing and gave me time to overcome my scars. I eventually popped into the battleground and fell in love with all of the teamwork and even raw battles.

WoW is similar enough to where I also like it a lot but refuse to play on a PVP server after rolling on one initially. Some people love the excitement of being ganked and ganking others but I do not It is too random and meaningless for me. I prefer large scale war over random PK.

WOW's BG's are great fun and I spend hours and hours playing them. It is just nice to be able to turn it off and leave the battle if I choose.
