Oct 1st 2008 10:07PM Dear Saiforune.
You're a really cool person. I was talking to you at the beginning of the beta on the live stream a bit.
I do think you overreacted a little though.
Allison didn't say the Deathknights that came from ranged dps were aweful to insult them. It's because they are.
If a player doesn't know to stand behind a mob when attacking them, that's no big deal.
If a person isn't familiar with parry, that's no big deal. It's understandable, because a caster is resisted, which has no consequence.
If a player doesn't know about cleaves, that's no big deal. They're a rarity anyways.
If a player pulls aggro every once in a while, it's no big deal. They're used to standing a ways away, and most have an aggro dump.
If they think they're not supposed to pull aggro ever, that's no big deal. Someone just has to tell them they're a little less fragile than the guy healing them.
But with all these together, you have to wonder why they weren't paying a little attention while sitting there spamming 1 or 2.
I started as a caster, and I knew about all the melee tactics before I even rolled rogue (Before they were FotM).
So, when a player manages all these things. Yes, they are awful. Which is why Ally continued instead of leaving it at "You are awful." Maybe with this post, the DK's can make awful into awesome.

Aug 5th 2008 8:22PM For an important coment: For the vanity pets, wouldn't it be hard for horde to get a Westfall Chicken?
