Apr 4th 2012 8:39AM Whiskers. I've had him going on 6 years now and despite all the other pets I have (and that I have spent money on), he's still my favorite. He's been wtih me since I was leveling my druid, to my first raids as a healer, stood by my side when I tanked Prince in Kara, and all the way through Cataclysm. Plus, there's something hilarious about a little white rat chasing around a big purple kitty.
Feb 27th 2012 2:21PM Is it that hybrid players are used to being forced into having a more flexible mindset? As a feral/feral druid, I'm very used to changing stat priorities, maintaining multiple sets of gear (even for the same role), having changing rotations, and always doing something different on a boss than just hitting it - and even if I am just hitting the boss, there's still innervates and BR getting tossed out, to drop my DPS.
It's hard for me to comprehend NOT having multiple pieces of gear and knowledge of what your other specs do, as well as the expected hits to your gold when you do need to re-prioritize a stat or change a spec.
Is this the ultimate definition of a hybrid vs a pure - that a true hybrid (of ANY class) is ready to switch to what's needed vs a pure (again, of ANY class) only being able to do one thing?
Feb 17th 2012 8:37PM As soon as I heard her open her mouth, I was laughing. That's me as well. At least there are worse things to be than the super happy girl.

Nov 15th 2011 12:27PM Bleh. I was feeling a little ambivalent towards the LFR prior to this article but after reading it, I don't think I'll be queueing as a tank for it. Besides the normal drama of being a tank in a PuG, the last thing I want is unclear messages about loot.
One possible temporary solution would be to be really specific in the item tagging. I *think* Blizzard has stated that you'll only be able to roll +need/need on your preferred item class, which is a help. I think they need to tag items as "plate tank" "strength DPS" "leather tank" "agility DPS" "cloth healer" etc and have multiple tags on an item.
What would also work would be adding a 4th role selection and splitting the DPS selection as melee and caster. That way, you wouldn't have enhancement shaman rolling +need on caster mail gear. Would probably also help with raid balancing (might screw over melee queues, though).
Oct 17th 2011 12:37PM Any chance of posting/linking a video of a feral solo'ing KT? Would be most helpful.
Sep 7th 2011 3:25PM One of my favorite moments from Blizzcon last year was attending the WoWInsider party (which is always awesome!). I'm normally really shy in person but made sure I stalked and found Robin. My husband, who's a huge Fox fan and normally really outgoing in person, got really shy and didn't talk to Fox. I have a picture of my husband standing near Fox, suddenly too nervous to actually talk to him.
Sadly, we are unable to attend the party this year, so no second chances for my husband. Even worse, Fox mentioned something about shot glasses...
