Oct 6th 2008 4:16PM They could turn DK creation off for new servers.
Oct 6th 2008 4:12PM This also affects me. I was trying to get a friend to start playing on my server when the expansion hits. He was all gung ho to start a deathknight to join my already level 70 character. Now he can't.
Sep 25th 2008 4:56PM I agree with the ressing.
I disagree with this paragraph, "Should the healer, who already spends more on the run than anyone aside from the tank, has a more stressful job than any DPS, and makes sacrifices for people they do not even know..."
Do you know this as fact, or just assume that it is so? It sounds as if you don't have a viewpoint as to what others spend on a run or what other people are sacrificing? Perhaps you don't know what others are sacrificing for you? Kind of like what you feel about others towards your perspective. It sounds like you don't want people to be considerate of others, but people to be considerate of you.
I've been a tank, a healer, and a damage class. I've found that it is the person behind the character that decides how much effort to spend on things. Yes, it's annoying when people don't share the same attitude. Some people are always interested in moving forward more than others.
Jul 30th 2008 6:31PM The dark clouds have rolled in. It's like winter time in Seattle already.
May 16th 2008 7:08PM I think all this reading into the Vivendi shareholders report is silly. Blizzard games are done when they are done. Anticipating a release and actually releasing are not the same thing. I gave up trying to predict Blizzard release dates when Dialblo 1 was pushed back so many times.
May 9th 2008 5:24PM Being in a Sunwell raiding guild, I don't see us having a problem with recruiting. There will always be people who want the prestige of having completed challenges, either for personal accomplishment or status within the community.
My guild runs our 25 man content every week, yet we still go to Karazhan and Zul'aman every chance we get. Not all member of the guild like to play so much per week, but there are people who want that extra content because we think it is fun.
I can pretty much guarantee our guild structure will remain the same going forth. Our guild is about progression for 25 man content. There will be about half the guild that will also do the 10 man raids each week, either because we want badges for that gear so we can progress in 25 man, or getting gear for alts, or just because we like to hang out with our guildmates and have a good time.
May 6th 2008 3:26PM I believe the word you meant to use was boycott, not strike. Strike would mean that Wowhead and Thottbot are employees of the advertising companies.
Apr 21st 2008 3:37PM My guild has decided to do the same, one group of bear busters until we get a bear mount each.
Our setup is
G1: Prot Warrior, Feral Druid, Enh Shaman, Ret Paladin, Holy Priest
G2: Disc Priest, Shadow Priest, Ele Shaman, Destro Warlock, Fire Mage
Mar 13th 2008 4:23PM Actually, what he meant was it is a 20 man instance and has always been a 20 man instance. You cannot bring 25.
