'iPhone 5' cases show not much will change from iPhone 4 {TUAW.com}

Mar 17th 2011 4:51PM iphone4 well crafted? Yes. The fit and finish are top notch.

Good design? No. Why would anyone put a headphone jack on the top. Take your phone in your hand, use it. Now take the phone in the same hand and put the phone in your pocket. Which way does the head phone jack point?

Glass on the front makes sense for a touch screen device, glass on the back for the sake of looking pretty, is a bad idea. EVERY cell phone ever sold to a customer has been dropped. Why would someone design the phone to have easily broken glass on the front and back.

Good design does not mean the product is pretty, it means it is functional FIRST and if it can then be aesthetic SECOND, then you have a good design.

Sorry man, but too many apple people place all their "good design" eggs in the "pretty" basket.

Big changes for Hunters in patch 3.1 {WoW}

Big changes for Hunters in patch 3.1 {WoW}

Feb 16th 2009 6:42PM I agree with this. I don't mind keeping stupid amounts of pet food on myslelf, usually two different kinds. I dont mind keeping a bag full of ammo or even 8 ammo crates on me at any given time. I also keep underwater breathing helms, mote extractors, pvp gear, water, bandages, trinkets, etc etc. All this adds to the game in my opinion. Giving hunters an additional bag slot or something for the ammo makes sense, same wiht locks...but to eliminate it? I already dislike that my hunter is not so much a physical class anymore, but a magic class. That takes all the fun out of the toon. I dont mind going to the stables to get my pet...makes sense..hell if I was the game designer I piss on all of you because I'd only let the pet be taken out of the stable he resides in.

Blizzard is catering WAAAY to much to the 10 year old QQing morons that have been ruining this game for over 2 years now.

Voidwalker raid tanking going away {WoW}

Feb 16th 2009 6:26PM I personally see nothing wrong with this. Anyone see the video of a boomkin tanking Prince...who cares. As already stated in the comments, tanking pets and specs SHOULD have some form of use in the game, outside of questing. With the tank shortage (on my server it is the toughest to find) and with the multitude of hunters out there, why not let a pet tank if the hunter (or lock) is geared a certain way with a certain talent spec.

It only makes the game more fun. I personally cant stand waiting around Daleran or Shatt looking for a frigging tank because the ones online already did the daily or there just are not enough to go around.

Who cares if the MT incurs no gear repair cost. Who cares if the tank is an NPC being controled by the player...whoohhh wait, that would not make it an NPC...

Just because the hunter/lock has a command that is "pet attack" meaning the toon is telling the pet to fight, does not mean it is still not player controlled.

So lets say that pets should not be tanking raid bosses...ok, fine...but at the very very very minimum, they should be able to tank any 5 man heroic in the game or any non heroic raid, at least off tank in the raids.

Bottom line is, tanks don't want to do their job half the time anyway..so why not let the pet classes tank so people can progress instead of sitting around Daleran for 4 hours in LFG channel looking for a tank.

Don't do it, it's a trap {WoW}

Mar 16th 2008 5:40AM traps cant move moron.

Don't do it, it's a trap {WoW}

Mar 16th 2008 5:38AM First of all to the guy that wants us to make a dismiss pet/feign death macro. PEts are not instantly dismissed, we have to 'cast' dismiss them, so obviously this would not work.

The trap combat log is going to RUIN the class in arena more then we already are. IE: Druid/Warrior vs hunter/healer. In this scenerio we have to work the druid down and keep the warrior off our healer by trapping the warrior. The counter is that most druid warrior teams, the druid will try and eat the trap, and there is not a hunter in this game with enough damage to kill a warrior in 10 seconds (trap duration). With this combat log, now the druid warrior team will know if I lay a trap behind a pillar and not just that, which kind of trap. This takes the surprise element away from the hunter. This is no different then having combat text incoming from a stealthed rogue, where we would all know his next intention.

Also, to the people that say hunters are OP. First of all get some resilience..I get tired of scrubs with 7k health in greens and no resilience coming into any forum and interjecting their idiotic responses.

Hunters have the lowest arena representation in all brackets measured at 2200 rating AND 1850 rating. And the numbers only vary by less then a %.

Those numbers are blizzard supplied. As far as the statement "well hunters have the most played and therefor the numbers are off". If anyone would do their friggin homework and google wow census, you might find a website that tracks all that data. Currently at lvl 70 (the only level to compete in arena) there are MORE warriors then hunters. MAges come in close to hunters numbers and so do rogues. Shamans are the least played.

I have played my hunter for 3 years and I am going to make the eudcated and experienced statement that HUNTERS ARE BROKEN IN WOW ARENA! If you disagree, that is fine, but I know the data backs my claim and so do countless other experienced hunters in the game.
