Apr 5th 2011 7:25PM Lolwut, I am Malaysian am god I am shocked to see this news ar TUAW. ROFL, it had spread so far eh?
Yes, I got to know this news from a local Chinese newspaper, but I really don't expect it would appear here at a blog in western countries
And I take my hats off most of you guys here that respect others tradition. Our world will be a better one if everyone learn to respect and not being racist :)
Oct 17th 2010 9:23PM agree...i am at work too and can only watch on my laptop. I am so cant wait when i am back home tooooooooooooooooooo
Oct 8th 2010 10:21AM This:
"Also, about Stormwind, I remember seeing a thread here where people talked about how epic it felt to enter the major cities, like SW or IF, what with the giant statues and the rising music and all that."
I rarely reply here but THIS I MUST.
Well, my first toon was human. And the first time I enter SW, I am literally WOW WOW WOW! The music is just so epic, the heroes statute I saw (although I don't know who the fark are them at that time) is just so so so epic
Until today, alliance is always my choice (even though the beauty of BE tried very hard, but still), and I still always park my toon at SW instead of dal or shatt.
Sep 22nd 2010 1:37AM er....am i wrong on what i am reading?
It means we won't be able to zap through the boss, tank and spank on bosses that we overgear them anymore?
If this is true, i is gona sad sad sad.....
May 18th 2008 1:27PM although i am not into AOC, but alot of my guildmates are. Many of them are leaving, especially the officers and the MT. In the end, the GM quit WOW and sold his account. The guild no more doing 25 man. They are all my freinds, ever since i start playing WOW. Personally i hate seeing them leaving, but well, life goes on .
May 10th 2008 2:15PM sorry, but you still need to apply to enter a NBA team. NO matter how good you are, you are Jordan or Lebron, you still need to apply. You still need to fill up the forms, to sign the contract, just like you apply for a job.
and 2nd, yes, it is viable that a gamer can dedicate themselves fully in to video gaming, by entering competitions and winning them, you get sponsors, you get competition prize, and maybe advertisement fees in your website or even others.
in the end its just see how good are you. If you are in the top, then you are the best and gain the most
May 10th 2008 12:13PM Btw, dave. i just read your comments, you did say that "The difference in WoW raiding, and competitive sports, is that you're going to win something if you're good at Bowling. You'll get in a tournament, you'll take home a trophy that lasts far longer than Tier 5 armor, you'll win money, whatever"
So, well, blizzard had done so. Arenas tournament are a competition that give out real money. And the 1st prize of it are way way way more then the normal bowling tournament here in my place. And yes, you can argue that it is PVP not PVE(raid), but as there is a saying, gamers makes games. Some of the game developers in Blizzard now are ex Everquest guild leader, and their commitment to Everquest had lead them to a great job.
All i can say is, its time for people to think that a video game is just a game. Its no more the truth, this is the internet and computer age. Everything had change from the past
May 10th 2008 12:02PM Yes, wow is a game.
So as soccer is a game, basketball is a game. All of them are sports games, so its no difference.
And i been waiting for a post like this, especially the quote"You're not playing for you, you're playing for your team."
Mar 16th 2008 11:50AM in my 5 man group, we always do the same thing, which i find that its the best suits me
everyone will roll greed no matter what is the item, BOE, BOP or watever
whoever wants the item, just roll need, simple and easy
if anyone is an enchanter, then before the blues or purples are looted, he will ask if anyone need
if no one need it, then he will click need and disenchant it
i seriously dont understand why have to pass all and reroll, seriously.
it already implement in the game, just use it and dont waste time
