Breakfast Topic: Should Blizzard support Hunter pet diversity? {WoW}

Apr 18th 2008 3:55PM My Hunter Moolan and her Teal and Orange Plainstrider "Mooshoo" are also in agreement

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Sets {WoW}

Apr 18th 2008 3:22PM "Priests can DPS and Tank"

No wonder I'm no good on my priest alt ... I've been playing him all wrong. =)

Wish I heard more of "LF1M War, Pally or Priest Tank pls"

Addon Spotlight: Making the leap to HKO {WoW}

Apr 1st 2008 4:51PM I love the site (usually) but I'm going to have to agree that the HKO stuff is getting old. WI is the ONLY WoW site that isn't blocked by the firewall here at work and I'd like to read some real articles today. =(

Blizzard needs to steal character customization Ideas from other MMORPGs {WoW}

Mar 31st 2008 5:11PM Loved Ultima Online. Being able to dye all of your gear any color you wanted was awesome and make guilds REALLY stand out.

There were a ton of features/options i would love WoW to steal from UO...

Totem Talk: Chain Lightning in your faces {WoW}

Mar 27th 2008 4:57PM As a Elemental Shaman (also a Prot and Fury Warrior, Go Shaman/Warrior alt team!) I can say I didn't notice much difference in PvP after the changes. Admittedly a 1% loss to crit isn't hugely noticable, but at this point any nerf to Shaman is fairly uncalled for, imo.

Good thing we do have the NS/EM combo ... as half the time that is the only way you'll get a spell off as an Ele Shaman before you are Stunned/CC'd/Fear'd to death. =)
Pushback ftl.

Phase 1 Dailies: Gaining the Advantage {WoW}

Mar 27th 2008 10:40AM Spent a few hours mining Hellfire Fel Iron and got only 3 ... 5 stacks of Fel Iron and only 3 residue.

I gave up. This quest is much harder (or more annoying really) than the other dailies.

Breakfast Topic: Spell pushback {WoW}

Mar 24th 2008 10:06AM As an Ele Shaman (I know! The HORROR!) I'm going to have to agree.

Maybe I'm just horrible in PvP, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to combat a rogue when I'm stunned the full legnth of the fight ... and lets not even talk about fighting a warrior ("Get off me! *Ice Shawk!* Stop with the intercept! Oh Oh Look! A Priest! Go eat him kthx?"). Now to be fair I have a 70 warrior and a 70 Shadow Priest as well, but at least on those when I die I know what I *should* have done.

Blizzard's internal tools need an upgrade {WoW}

Mar 20th 2008 5:14PM I'm going to have to agree with Dof ... some BG maps from the old WC games would be fun. Maybe more than 2 teams even!

As for why it is taking so long, just a theory, but maybe they are holding off any new ones for WOTLK so the new maps use the new mechanics (think siege engines). I have a feeling the environments that will be incorperated with Siege will be quite a bit different than what we currently have (mechinically speaking) and they may not want to put dev time into something that could have been alot cooler if they had waited to use the new BG system/engine.

Belfaire on community policing and GM subjectivity {WoW}

Mar 17th 2008 2:09PM Ok, I have never played a RP server, so I have to ask:

Is it totally unacceptable that someone's name may be (from a RP standpoint) a nickname? I mean, if my tauren chef's buddies all call him "Steak" could he not be named that in game?

I spent much of my life with various nicknames (TY collegiate sports =/ ) and like it or not at first, I always ended up going with them. Is it so far fetched that characters in game could have the same experience?
