Apr 4th 2012 4:02PM I agree, a very, VERY, thought provoking read.
If I'm understanding what you are saying, your basically saying that the LK/Arthas made the Azerothian versions of Horcruxes and hid them. His body, his heart, Frostmourne... Who knows how many he made. Is it possible that "we" also wield a form of a phalactyrie? Think about it: shadowmourne is made up of Arthas' paladin mace: could that be another?
I have also wondered if Bolvar is perhaps sitting atop the throne, fighting for control, and if he is, what's the chance that he could loose? Arthas sat atop the throne for around 10 years? before he started to run around making DKs and whatever else he was up to: is that what Bolvar is going to do?
Or is he really just coming to terms with his power, and as a result it's goin to take time to reign in control of the plaguelands?
To many questions, not enough answers!

Apr 2nd 2012 3:05AM I think that the Alliance quests were written the way they were in order for the alliance to rise from the mud and muck that they wallow through 1-60 and at 85, they show up and really start to shine.
I don't know that for a fact, he'll I never played an alliance past lvl 15, but you have to almost imagine a big white board with major plot points for both factions written down as a timeline: Blizz knows what they are doing: they know that it's rough going, and in order to find the steel that they have inside, the Alliance have to hit almost rock bottom to climb back up to the top and push the Horde off the top of the Mountain.
I have to agree with the article about Southern Barrens: as a Horde I felt right when I was told to go take out that Commander, and when a friend told me about the alliance side, I felt partially shocked, partially guilty.
What drives me nuts as a Horde is the blind eye that is given to the Forsaken. I always played, and thought of the Horde as an Honor driven culture, that wasn't afraid of getting dirty to get the job done, and was constantly trying to rise up from their past, and at times hovered above what they once were, but never resorted to falling below that line.
But some of those forsaken quests make me feel dirty: deploying plague, scavenging body parts for aboms, and raising more humans from the dead to fight, bound to Sylvans' will...
And I know that stuff isn't really tolerated by the Horde b/c look at Stonetalon: an Orc went to far, an he got dropped off a cliff. So the way the Forsaken are allowed to run around unchecked bothers me.

Mar 29th 2012 1:39PM Better run animations, smoother textures (Orc muscles are blocky), more detailed textures (are Tauren hairless or covered in hair? Can't tell currently), and better attack animations - my Tauren is ok, but slam looks like ms looks like overpower looks like heroic strike...
And more customization: do I want a nosering or no? Horns? Swept forward or to the side? And that it...? What about scars, or tattoos, facial expressions, anything that will make me want to turn my helm off.
Mar 28th 2012 11:20AM Q for the Q:
How is bladstorm shaping up for prot? As it stands at the moment, TG Fury warriors will benefit from it the most, then arms, then prot.
Will Blizz figure out a way to make it more appealing to prot, adding more dmg if you have a sword and board equipped or adding a defensive feature to it (extra parry during bladestorm)?
For reading suggestions:
The Dwarves series by Marcus Heitz (The Dwarves, War of the Dwarves, Revenge of the Dwarves)
Legends of the Dragonrealm Vol 1, 2, 3 by Richard Knaak (much better writing than his warcraft stories)
Mar 28th 2012 11:12AM Deathwing ripping a new hole through the mealstrom, the original well of eternity, and upsetting the balance of Azeroth did most of it.
We could also guess that the mists are magic based, and Malygos trying to realign the ley-lines of the planet might have had something to do with it as well...
Mar 28th 2012 8:47AM I agree, pet battles and the farming stuff. I'm especially leery about the farming stuff because the potential to earn stronger than normal food buffs will make it mandatory and I dont want another thing that I have to farm.
Pet battles will be something I only participate in to get more pets. I really have little interest in a Pokemon ripoff.
The whole ground mount thing doesn't bother me, and in fact I am almost looking forward to it: I have a massive stable of ground only mounts that largely get ignored due to the fact it's faster to fly everywhere. My understanding is that there will be at least 1 class trainer on pandaria, and we will only need to visit the trainer at 87 and 90. FPs should also be at all major quest hubs like they are currently: this will make traveling easy and questing harder - we have to kill our way to the objective, and hopefully kill our way out.
Mar 23rd 2012 8:42PM Whats the difference between a reg imp and a fel imp??? I like other demons though... well I like the original infernal model better.
Mar 23rd 2012 4:01PM To be honest, we dot really know what he has done in order for him to be a raid boss to kill. If he enslaves the entire horde or orcs to the Legion, then yes: kill the bastard.
I agree, for someone who has recieved as much story work as him, who has grown as a character, learning from mistakes, from what we ***know right at this very minute***, no, he doesn't deserve death.
But we have a new expac coming, with at least 3 patches of atrocities for him to commit: he has time to sign his death sentence. He has lots of time...

I concur - my tauren has looked the same since vanilla, minus the horn change I did for an achieve and then reverted.
I would love to have grim totem tattoos, or look like a taunka (northrend) or these yak guys.
