Jul 4th 2008 1:52PM Right right, so countermeasures need to be taken to prevent twink characters from facing casual characters. Think of all your twink gear and imagine if it had a number on it, all of it added together would put you well above a designated twink status and you could not complete with casuals, but only twinks. And I move to push this envelope further since lvl 19 has become a huge bracket across all servers, and request more lvl 19 pvp rewards (armor sets) and hell, even lvl 19 arena! How sweet would that be?!
Jul 3rd 2008 10:30AM I've been playing for two years and low-level battleground has always been a miserable experience for me, so I've avoided it at all costs. After quitting the game for months and eventually coming back, I decided to make a twink character in an attempt to better my odds out there. Well the odds are better and I can put down a lot of players before I see the graveyard. But when I identify a player who is clearly non-twink, I try like hell to avoid and ignore them for the rest of the session and hunt only other twinked characters. I think of the frustration I faced back in the day when I have a non-twink butting their head against the brick wall I've created, and I can't bring myself to take them out. Most people don't have that kind of consideration. As for me, I look for the trademark goggles. Not all of them have them visible but it lets me know who my real targets are.
Jan 30th 2008 4:15PM Especially useful if you've booked yourself a flight from Darnassus to Gadgetzen and something has gone askew. Since the bird does a flyby of each post along the way, there ought to be a set of options that appear on screen as you're approaching each one. Choose an option will either land you, or redirect you to a different post than you had originally chose. "Redirect," clicking it would bring up the FP map as seen at the wind rider/gryph master, and if you choose a new destination from there and accept the fee, your bird will change direction from the next post you reach (you couldn't suddenly change directions between Auberdine and Astranaar-- your updated path would take effect when you reach Astranaar).
