May 15th 2011 1:23PM In the Lore, are there fundamental differences between Shadow, Fel or Unholy magic?
Sep 27th 2010 11:11PM Message those thinking about buying the Sprocket Gyrospring figure: DON'T DO IT!
While the figure itself is enjoyable with cool little details and awesome Mechanostrider mount, the base supporting the figure is sadly too small to support it's own weight. The small metal pole holding the figure must inserted to the small mound at an angle. Combined with the fact the mound itself is lighter than the figure, it results in the object falling over, over and over..
Maybe this as been fixed for newer models. Just a heads up!
Dec 29th 2009 4:20PM Is 2-handed Frost still viable these days?
I did the starting area and very much enjoyed it, but never leveled a Death Knights since other alts got in the way. In my head I always imagined a DK to have a big 2 handed sword and wielding Frost magic.
Nov 26th 2009 7:46PM "Everyone who does the quest reforges the sword, but if you can't use swords the blade goes to the Sunreavers/Silver Covenant and they give you something... as good!"
Isn't that just simply convenient? ; )
Nov 26th 2009 4:36PM "Quel'delar, as the captain of the guard pointed out, chooses its own master, and it chose the hero that reclaimed it."
But just then, heroes who reclaimed it but can't wield swords will trade it for something much more convenient!
Nov 10th 2009 3:15PM " I actually spoke with Archdruid Fandral Staghelm, asking him if he could send over an elite cadre of druids skilled in the art of healing -- the antithesis of Alistra's power -- to aid in her displays. He graciously accepted in return for information on Scourge curses and some Plagueland soil samples. "
Nov 4th 2009 12:01PM What are the real differences between a good RP server and traditional PvP/PvE servers? When players are in cities, do a lot of people they talk to every npc they interact with? How do people explain being able to send instant telepathic messages? When in a Five-man dungeon, do people stop for breaks and explain their motivations against the invading forces of the Scourge and etcetera?
What I think I'm trying to ask is: how dedicated are the good roleplayers in their daily in-game activities? How much effort does the usual good and sensible roleplayers put into making his /her character feel alive to oneself and others without having to having to resort to insane minutiae and borderline obsessive-compulsive behavior?
Oct 7th 2009 1:21PM Don't forget that this change also allows a lot more people to still start new characters and expect to play with them in end-game raids sooner than before.
With Trial of the Champion, Heroic Trial of the Champion, The new Icecrown Dungeons and all the wonderful gear from the badge vendors, I find it's now not incredibly hopeless to want to start a new character and raid it if you don't have an incredibly supportive guild to back you up.
Besides, if you are only a little curious and interested in the class you selected at that wonderful login screen, there's plenty of time to learn how to play your class correctly during the leveling-up and gearing-up processes.
