Sep 10th 2008 11:13AM Insta- Corruption and Ruin in the top of the destro tree? That's called having your cake and eating it too. I though Chaos Bolt was too good to be true. I wonder if the new demon form will level the playing field between us and rogues.
I think Chaos bolt should have an knock-back effect that rotates the victim upside down and lands them on their back dazed.
May 11th 2008 12:11PM I am glad it's gone. Tier 3 armor is brutal. The loot doesn't just drop. A token drop for the piece is looted. Then mooncloth and nexus crystals are required. It's brutal since there are 8 tier pieces and the ring. Good riddance.
Apr 18th 2008 4:07PM Soul Leech only procs when I have full life.
I crit 3 times in a row for 6000k shadow bolts only in the first minute of a fight or when I am close to pulling aggro. I never crit when a raid boss like Gruul or Void Reaver is at 1 pct.
Mob respawns only occur after I have sat for a 2 full seconds to eat/drink
I only get summoned to the stone after I get on the FP.
I am the only warlock who bothered to bring shards
The guy I just SS'ed decided to pop during the fight and got killed within 10 seconds.
The person who is the bomb in the Solarian fight is the only one without the alarm add on and then lags out.
Apr 1st 2008 11:01AM That is the meanest joke ever. I've been a strong proponent of having a bard class in WoW. Now I have been mocked with an amazing page from Blizzard. That is just too cruel because that would be so awesome to bust out the facemelter and play music for the raid.
Feb 25th 2008 4:55PM My job in raids is to spam shadow bolts and keep dots up. Nerfing life tap directly interferes with how I do my job. What's next, an increase in the mana costs for warlock spells? Maybe shave a second or two off of life drain? Jerks.
Jan 4th 2008 12:40PM This is a drink of death. The sprite/ 7up kills the burn of the booze. Be prepared for mayhem.
Jan 3rd 2008 11:27AM The nerf bat has been swung at the expense of warlocks during all TBC patches for PVP. One shammy I played with was under the impression that warlocks have 3 instant fears. I think it's that noobish impression that makes players feel warlocks are OP. At most we have 2 instant fears, with ridiculously long cool downs. Death Coil is 2 minutes. HoT is 40 seconds. Fear outright has a 1.5 second cast time. That's more then enough time for a kick, counterspell, other warlock's spelllock, silence, shield bash, or pally stun to cancel it.
I have played other classes that can fear. The priest fear, pyschic scream is way more effective. Unlike warlock fear, targets don't run all the way into the next zone. It lasts 8 seconds, and mind flay slows the target down. Couple that with all the s-priest dots and sw:death and that is super op.
I am sick to death of QQ'ing over patch notes where the one warlock change is like "tooltip will now read correctly". Gee thanks for nothing. Instead of training instant corruption, it should just be changed to instant. Maybe hellfire's hitpoint cost could be reduced? Or drain life and fear could be cast when moving? The only useful buff warlocks have gotten in the last year is the Ritual of Souls. I dare say warlocks will never get another utility quite as useful ever again.
Dec 31st 2007 4:38PM I want one of those armored voidwalkers, the ones that can get hit with a certain spell damage school and then fire back with that school's spell. I'd vote for a perma-enslave or some type of demonic transformation. I'd love to break a stun with a transformation into a big satyr and then lay a hurt on some rogue.
Dec 28th 2007 11:26AM WWOR in Secaucus has got to be pissed. They had the exclusive rights in NY/NJ to air that game. Now they are getting hosed. I expect them to sue,and to win.
