All the World's a Stage: Getting ready for Cataclysm {WoW}

Apr 18th 2010 10:07PM One of the things I'm working on is getting my Turtle mount so I will be ready for vashj'ir! If anything its getting my fishing a lot higher XD

The Daily Blues {WoW}

Apr 14th 2010 4:22AM @Kia I wouldn't say "Radically"... Better and more interesting though... But not Radically superior.

As for the blue post... I wouldn't worry to much about it... They are busy over there preparing for both Cataclysm and SC2 so sometime they do not have all the correct info...

The best way to go would be to listen to what they have said at each con since announcing cata. In which case states that at minimum all profession racial abilities will be revamped and some of the other abilities as well.

Battle.net preview: Real ID {WoW}

Feb 10th 2010 5:19AM I look forward to BNet 2.0 but... Some of you were probably not around for the old BNet back in its prime. For those of you who were... I think there is a big problem that is going to come back... Broadcasting...

Broadcasting which was done by "/f msg (msg here with no brackets)" would send a msg to everyone on your friends list and was far easier to do then whispering a specific person(Especially in Diablo/2). As such most players just started broadcasting instead of whispering. It causes a lot of confusion and gets annoying... fast... I really hope blizzard does not make the same mistake with this new broadcasting system...

Blizzard giving serious consideration to mandatory authenticators {WoW}

Jan 9th 2010 8:51AM I have played since release and not only have I never been hacked by Ive also never received any scam email! And on top of that I have no virus protection other then the built in windows xp sp3 firewall! I think the only people who should be forced to get one are the people who have been hacked at least once! I even have 2 Blizzcon 2008 authenticators just sitting around because I see no use in them other then novelty!

Point being only people who have been hacked at least once should be forced into it! Those of us who know not to do stupid shit should not have to suffer!

ALSO you all think "Oh well its no big deal! I just have to type some numbers in each time you log in! Nothing could go wrong and I will be protected forever!" but did you even stop to think about what happens if...
1.) The battery dies!
2.) It bugs out and starts displaying letters and weird symbols(happens a lot)
3.) You lose it!

The process of getting the old authenticator removed so a new one can be added is a nightmare(Especially if you lose it)! Not only do you have to fill out a large amount of paperwork and send multiple forms of id to Blizzard they also have to go through all the ids and paperwork then manualy remove the authenticator and send you a new one! So think about the time and money spent there!

Think this through all the way before you mindlessly say its a good idea!

The Twelve Days of Winter Veil: Day one - Steelseries gear {WoW}

Zarhym talks about the Isle of Conquest battleground {WoW}

Jun 7th 2009 6:53PM He is talking about Pre BC where the objective of AV was kill those Hord/AF foos. Where a game would last anywhere from 6hrs to multiple days. Back when av was... you know... fun... and not a base race...

I miss those days >.> The current av is just stupid.

The curious case of Ferarro {WoW}

May 31st 2009 3:01PM Yes this is news. Some people are interested in other bloggers or stuff like that... Just because its not all patch notes and blue posts dose not mean its not news... If all you want is patch notes go somewhere like MMO-Champion the rest of us will be fine here without you :)

Breakfast Topic: Which role is the hardest? {WoW}

May 31st 2009 2:56PM Its true I've tanked as a paladin and would do a steady 1.2k dps in heroics and naxx and yet I've seen dps do less then 1k dps in heroics let alone naxx! Sad thing is that I have friends leveling alts who at 70 in Wrath greens are pumping out 800+dps yet the majority of level 80s I see suck at dps! I don't tank any more, guild said they needed a holy paladin so I made the sacrifice, but I still occasionally see other tanks pumping out a steady dps that is above most normal dps...

Now onto the topic... After playing Ret, Prot, and holy in a raid environment I can safely say that tanking is the most difficult! Followed very very closely by healing and trailing way off in the distance is dps.

Also... Why are Holgar and WoWie downranked? Its not that Holgar is being rude to the OP he is saying that the lazy dps out there who thinks they can face roll through everything needs to L2P! And WoWie didn't even say anything to deserve to be down ranked.
