Jul 16th 2008 1:35PM Dan can you tell us how long the transformation from using Dire Brew lasts? 1 hour?
Jul 15th 2008 11:10AM Actually, PvP can supply you with a shirt as well. If you do enough AVs, you're bound to eventually find the infamous [Sleeveless T-Shirt].
So PvP can, in fact, fill every single slot.
Jun 4th 2008 3:28PM What's the deal with Shadow Priests? I was under the impression that 'Light' and 'Shadow' parallel Good and Evil in WoW.
But I've heard different variations on this - i.e. that Shadow Priests use a faith-based version of Shadow and so it is thus not 'evil', both are of the same coin, etc.
Can you explain the dichotomy here and how Shadow Priests fit into it?

I'd like it if, at the very least, Death Knights suffered reputation penalties for that though among those factions (Alliance: Start Hated with Darnassus & Exodar; Horde: Start Hated with Thunder Bluff & Darkspear)
May 23rd 2008 2:48PM Wow everyone is still missing the point....
The reason Trolls, Night Elves, Tauren and Draenei cannot be Warlocks is the same reason they can't be Death Knights.
They would be shunned by their own race. They would be KOS by other members of the race.
How will you explain a Night Elf Death Knight being able to walk around Teldrassil without being seized and chained for 10,000 years??
May 23rd 2008 12:11PM You completely missed the reasoning behind why so many of us are upset that Death Knights are available to all races.
There is no issue at all with all races being corruptible.
There IS a VERY MAJOR issue with certain races being accepted as redeemed by their own race as a Death Knight.
The Night Elves, Tauren, Trolls and Draenei would all kill on sight a member of their race that has turned to usign Necromonic power. They would view such a person as an abomination for everything they stand for.
Putting up with members of allied races to become Warlocks or even Death Knights for the sake of race relations is one thing. But tolerating a member of their own race doing so is completely another.
This is the problem with making DK available to all races.
Apr 4th 2008 1:01PM Meh. Seems like a cop-out to me. "Forget about the Defias subplot--- he escaped, lost his memory, arena'd his way to the 2300 bracket, earned a cool tribal nickname, and now he's gonna come back all Aragorn-style to retake the throne... watch out!!"
Miffed opportunity to continue an interesting arc with rich, lore-driven questlines that was replaced with a standard make-him-bad-ass-and-bring-him-back. Here's to hoping the players will be involved in his return somehow.
Apr 4th 2008 12:06PM Didn't blizzard already do the whole Heir by blood-lost-turned slave-turned Gladiator-returned King (as I'm assuming the end of this story will turn out...) with Thrall?
Don't get me wrong it's a cool story arc and all, but isn't it a bit much to have the same basic structure as the background to the leaders of both the Orc and Human factions?
