May 6th 2010 2:28AM I love wow.com but, these UI strings have nothing on what MMOChamp is posting from the Alpha! New zone map images, all new mobs, tons of stuff.
Apr 7th 2010 4:45PM I know this is actually more credible, but I really would have liked to see some sort of response from wow.com about how they said the beta was a month or two ago. The whole thing ended up being a prank someone played in order for it to get picked up by a major website.
I believe that WoW.com has their inside sources and never doubted them about their other leaked info, but if you truly used them for that story, you might want to find some new ones. But with all due respect, the least you all could have done was issued an apology to your loyal readers for jumping the gun too early.
Jan 7th 2010 3:41PM I bought Blizzcon stream and during one of the interviews they said that come next blizzcon, "people will be complaining that the goblin racials are Overpowered."
In another interview with Mike Morhaime, he went on to say that Cataclysm is to be released in 2010.
I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out right before blizzcon. Especially if we'll be seeing Arthas in February.
Oct 3rd 2009 12:33PM "It was so big, and I was like amazed, cause it was like, 5 times the size of me."
That's what she said.
Aug 6th 2009 9:12PM I guess the part of the article about "Player Reaction" was colored with invisible pixels? I can only find the part where Mike Schramm talks about his own reaction.
Jul 31st 2009 4:57PM Same. I'll be listening live on wcradio.com and also refreshing the page here for the live blogging.
Jul 31st 2009 4:31PM Interesting. Also a note for people who don't want to spend money but still want to get the news from Blizzcon, WCRadio will be streaming live broadcasts of all the panels along with some of their usual shows. www.wcradio.com
I don't know why you guys wouldn't mention them =P
Jul 1st 2009 3:55PM It very well could be. The exact details of the trademark is this:
Blizzard Entertainment filed a trio of trademark registrations for Cataclysm encompassing computer games, paper-based products, and online games.
Paper based product could definitely indicate it as a name for a book as well. Though it does also say Computer games, and online games. Wouldn't be surprised if its both.
Jul 1st 2009 3:51PM To be fair T, you have to click the link to the page Great Sundering in order to get more info. That 1 sentence under the Warlocks ability is only there to alert you that there are more than one references to the word.
There isn't TOO much more info, but what is there is enough to prove it has to do with the Great Sundering and the Maelstrom.
Jul 1st 2009 3:38PM What?
The name indicates everything on what it will be. Go to www.wowwiki.com and type in Cataclysm. It refers to the Great Sundering. Which has to do with the Maelstrom and the Well of Eternity being destroyed.
The word "Wrath" is WAY more vague than Cataclysm.
