Mar 1st 2009 8:42AM AHHHH noob yes yes very much so. Two very much noob moments. I started the game with a druid who when balance as the levels went on. At tha time I thought that the best weapon I could have was the hardest hitting 2H mace I could find. I paid no attention to stats whatsoever. Good times.
Secondly I rember in those early days trying to run BFD with two friends of mine and we were astonished that we kept getting killed over and over again. I mean come one!! there were 3 of us!!! we should have had no problem with 1 balance druid 1 rogue and a 1 feral druid.
I remember when I looked up some strategy online and I learned about the concept of a tank for the first time. LOL those were the days.
Apr 17th 2008 8:34AM I consider myself and alt-oholic. I like all the different play styles. As a matter of fact im leveling a hunter right now for the sole purpose to see what it will play like in WOTLK and if I have time i might just level another one. Im probably not going to gear them out except for a couple pvp's. Am i worried that WotLK will put up a fight on the first few levels. Nope, as a matter of fact I say bring on the challenge, I welcome it.
Apr 14th 2008 9:01AM MURLOCS!! you can never pull just one. On the other hand though I have always liked killing Ogres. Big and squishy they all just seem to be big push overs.
Apr 2nd 2008 10:18AM My favorite is Silvermoon City. I like the feel, the look, and the music there. I like all the others basically the same though UC is a little dank for my taste and Exodar is just confusing no matter how many times I go there and try to figure it out. The biggest issue for me is ease of travel between cities. On the Horde side you can travel from city to city without hardly having to step a foot outside. While on the ally side it takes multiple flight and boats to reach your destination.
Mar 27th 2008 11:03AM I repeat what has been said before in that it appears that it all really just depends on your realm, what time you play, and how well your team cooperates with one another. Though I must say that even though, as alliance on Rampage, I loose the good majority of AV's I do; the few times (and mind you it has only been a few times) we have come together and actually listened and followed out a strategy with little to no bickering we rolled over the Horde.
But all that aside the 5 cents that I actually want to put in here is concerning the inherent problem with the BG honor set up. Dont get me wrong I like the BG's, even WSG, but its all about the honor. Im sure most of us agree that hands down win or loose (as long as its not a complete shut out) AV is the best place to get honor. And so I bring my fully epic druid there as well as my almost all green shaman alt. There just aren't any other options if I want to get my pvp gear in a reasonable amount of time. So I would say that the way to fix AV isnt to do anything to AV. I actually like the fact that the map differs from side to side. The way to fix AV is to increase the amount of Honor gained in the other battlegrounds. 2.4 saw a step in this direction with the DR being expunged but an increase in the honor gained from the other BGs would give us some options. And isnt that what we want, options?
