Twitter developer chat for July 16, 2010, organized by category {WoW}

Jul 17th 2010 5:50AM I'm looking forward - with apprehension - to see if I'm an above average ret pally or below average. Something tells me, it's going to be a rude surprise. lol

Anyone else worried about being exposed as a less-then-great player?... or am I all alone on this?

Jul 17th 2010 4:50AM Makes sense. I thought that too, but it sounds like an inverse rune power; they start out powered down and have to be 'turned on' through combat. Would that be right?

Jul 17th 2010 3:25AM As a Pally, I'm nervous about the new Holy Power system, but I'm also looking forward to it. It sounds like it could be - and I may be waaaay off base here - like a vague nod to the rogue's combo point system, only attached to the pally instead of a target. Does anyone know for sure, or have a better guess?

Breakfast Topic: We get bored {WoW}

May 15th 2010 8:33AM I've seen the mammoth parade before. Once on my server, a guildmate and his friend were in it, and I wanted to participate somehow but I had no mammoth. What I did have was a lot of Preserved Holly, so I made my bear a reindeer and ran through the parade /yelling, "Rudolph says for all mammoths to go home!" I got a decent reaction to that so I kept the shtick up (speaking for my reindeer, who ultimately developed quite a personality/attitude) for some time until my guildie's friend told me to "take Rudolph and 'go somewhere.'" I promptly said that Rudy and I were going to give toys to all the good boys and girls and went to the landing pad to turn my gryphon into a reindeer. I circled the city a few times before diving down into the mammoth parade.

This was all a lark one night, but for the next week I saw an unprecedented amount of reindeer in Dalaran. I hadn't seen one in a long time - which is why I opted for the holly in the first place - and suddenly the stupid things were everywhere. I apologized for the influx on my blog.

Cataclysm Class Changes: Paladin {WoW}

Apr 14th 2010 10:55AM I'm excited as hell. From the Guardian of Ancient Kings, to Crusader Strike being a lvl 1 ability (hopefully meaning an exciting new high-level talent for us ret pallys!), to holy shock being available to everyone, I couldn't be more happy. Paladins, rejoice!

Breakfast Topic: The all nighter {WoW}

Mar 30th 2010 8:58AM Just last night I was up the whole night. I took part in my first 25-man raid to kill Ignis the Furnace Master for the weekly raid quest, did all my argent tournament dailies I usually do, completed a couple heroics and my profession daileis, plus I ran lots and lots of circles around Dalaran. In between dungeons, when I wasn't running circles I was convening with a guildie about how to improve my gear. A very productive night.

Except for the laps around Dalaran. They just kinda happen.

Patch 3.3.3 PTR patch notes updated {WoW}

Feb 24th 2010 5:56PM Yes!! I commented on an earlier Breakfast Topic that my biggest regret to date was messing up trying to trade someone a Pet Bombling and Li'l Smoky, only to find them BoP. Now I can make good on my promise! Thanks, Blizz! :-)

Breakfast topic: Your biggest regret? {WoW}

Feb 23rd 2010 8:45AM I most regret when the two engineering pets - Pet Bombling and Li'l Smoky - first became available in Gnomeregan, I told a guy I'd make him one of each. I gathered all the parts and made him come to Stormwind's Dwarven District so I could build them, only to find them BoP. All through it he asked me if they were BoE or BoP and I was convinced they were BoE. I still feel bad.
