Mar 11th 2009 2:01AM Regarding the pants and robes options shown in the video, is it simply that one is a non-tier item with different stats but the same model as the T8 gear or can you actually choose when you go to trade in your token?
Oct 19th 2008 11:39PM Completely agree and totally necessary (I have 4 70s and about 3 alts stuck between 40-50, still haven't started on warrior though). However imo the condition should be raised to, say having 2-3+ level 70s or 80s at least before you can automatically create a lvl 50+ character. Despite the fact that they improved many of the Azeroth's quest gear, decent upgrades while levelling is still a huge PITA to find, compared to the rate and quality of Outland quest rewards. I still don't understand the argument that people needs to play 50+ levels to actually learn their character, being lucky enough to try out a premade character on one of the previous PTRs, it didn't take me long at all to get a grasp of all the new skills/talents/gear stats of another class. It seems a lot of people are forgetting that if this does get implemented there will be CONDITIONS: ie who can't learn how to play a different class within 1-2 levels if they already understand WoW mechanics from their eg. 2-3+ other level 70 toons.
May 21st 2008 8:28AM Well the fact that creating a DK requires having at least 1 lvl 70 character pretty much answers your question: it's not as if you're starting a lvl 1 toon on a new realm. Simply getting to 70 you should have ended up with enough gold to afford a regular flying mount immediately (including repairs and spell costs but not extra-questing gold you might've made from AH etc), and since it's logical you'll also be getting your first set of gears from DK starting zone quests there will also probably be gold rewards too.
