Sounds like a Hodir quest!
Aug 19th 2009 3:03PM > We have one question: if they're so bad at raiding, what's with the 200 Abyss Crystals?
Heroics. Since 3.2, our guild has been running heroics like mad and the guild bank is booming with crystals because folks are gunning for the badges, not the gear.
Not saying they were good or bad, but between heroics (not to mention normal ToC, which you can run repeatedly), abyss crystals are really easy to come by now.
Aug 18th 2009 8:17AM Yep, exactly. Until someone shows me a connection between this random company and Blizzard, I'm going to assume the Sound Blaster site is just trying to recreate the hype surrounding the WWI splash page that lead us to the D3 announcement. Sure, they'll change it a little every day and add runes and stuff, but they're not telling us anything new about the future of WoW. Any one of us could come up with something like this based on the leaks about "Cataclysm" so far.
I'm not buying it.
Aug 4th 2009 3:05PM Or just increase the number of ninjas that happen to disconnect directly after accidentally receiving items. :)
Aug 4th 2009 2:43PM Yeah, they don't even seem to be playing WoW.
Jul 16th 2009 10:19AM Heh... i guess that represents the squished one, since the comment feature removed his other legs. :)
Jul 10th 2009 12:12PM Bwahaha....awesome comment. :D
I recently started leveling my old hunter (my main from BC) from 70 to 80 and I have to agree that some of the changes to the mechanics have made it a bit boring. I knew folks that thought it was a boring class before (and I would have disagreed); they'd definitely hate it now.
The same prejudices still lurk, however. I get turned down for pugs sight unseen either because they don't want a hunter or because there's already one other hunter in the group. (This is for things like regular Nexus, too. We're not even talking raiding.) These same groups are, no doubt, carrying 2-3 DK's. It's sort of depressing.
But yes, I'm sure we'll have our day once again. In the meantime, I'll just do what I enjoy doing and continue to run with my guild (who knows I'm not a huntard).
Jul 9th 2009 8:12AM > "you should probably never leave power in the hands of anyone with "lol" in their name,"
My favorite part is that this warning (in the original thread) comes from someone called Crackenfart.
Jul 3rd 2009 9:38AM I'd love for my toon to dance like David Brent from the original Office series:
Someone mentioned synchronized dancing, too. You can apparently do this in Guild Wars -- very cool:
