Why is Blizzard still OK with gender inequality in World of Warcraft? {WoW}

Apr 3rd 2012 4:15PM Sorry, got distracted by the blood elf pic. No wonder she can't stand up straight!

Does Garrosh Hellscream deserve to die? {WoW}

Mar 23rd 2012 3:00PM Wonder if Gamon will be elevated to raid boss status, considering that the final raid is the Siege of Orgrimmar.

Here's an interesting thought on Garrosh: what if Sylvanas is the one who "corrupts" him? She (perhaps in disguise) entices him with the promise of an army of plagued or undead orcs by supplying him with the necessary ingredients and tools. He begins the work to do so underneath Orgrimmar. Alliance and Horde find out what Garrosh is up to (via a plague orc attack?) and unite to stop him. During the final fight, maybe Sylvanas' identity as the source of the plague is revealed.

Sylvanas has never been totally united with the Horde, and the occupation of Undercity by the Kor'kron probably gets under her skin. Her motivation in providing the plague to Garrosh is for him to split the Horde, antagonize the Alliance (maybe to the point that it draws resources away from Alliance posts in the territories around Lordaeron), and slaughter both factions indiscriminately.

This would set up some interesting threads to follow for future expansions. Due to her treachery, she is forced to flee and hide. Maybe she heads up to Northrend and tries to join forces with the new Lich King Bolvar to raise a new scourge army. Maybe she figures out that she needs to find another source of power to augment the army - she finds a portal to Argus, former home to the Draenei but now a Burning Legion stronghold. Perhaps she is "led" to the portal by Medivh...

So many thoughts running through my head! Whatever happens, should be fun!!

Mar 12th 2012 11:14AM On a similar topic, what do you think the Pandaren "voice" will sound like? Asian-tinged accent? Something else?

Mar 12th 2012 11:08AM Any word on minimum/preferred system requirements for Mists, or will they be determined by what Blizzard sees as people begin beta testing? Do you think we'll hear more about this in the Press Event?

I might be in need of an upgrade before it launches, so the more advanced notice the better! :)

Blood Pact: MoP talent calculator spells out more changes for warlocks {WoW}

Mar 5th 2012 11:46AM Yes, it's perfectly okay for Blizzard to do this, as they can do whatever they want. See Paladins, Cataclysm expansion, addition of Holy Power.

What type of loot system works the best? {WoW}

Mar 2nd 2012 10:10AM Good thing they found a replacement that sounds exactly like him. Hope the 2nd guy doesn't die...or hope they've already recorded the Pandaren intro!!

Feb 29th 2012 1:02PM They finally upgraded the servers, so all those poor gerbils and hamsters are no longer needed. ;)

Heart of the Aspects mount now available for $25 {WoW}

Feb 14th 2012 6:29PM Although it doesn't land (but hovers above the ground), the /mountspecial command causes it to do a backflip! Worth the price for that reason alone. :)

Jan 25th 2012 4:47PM Plus, the publisher of the upcoming Jaina Proudmoore book just pushed its release date back to August 28, 2012 (it was set at July 24, 2012 only a few days ago).

Jan 25th 2012 4:37PM Wow...following the link in the article above, the Simon and Schuster website now shows August 28, 2012 as the release date!!!

Either someone is toying with us, or we won't be seeing Mists for a very long time.
