Aug 29th 2008 8:51AM Or you could look at it from the angle that Kitty Druids aren't viable in raids past T4 because they can't scale their damage. So blizzard patches a loophole used to boost dps as an exploit, but fixes the dps scaling overall.
Powershifting was a nuisance. I say good riddance.
Aug 29th 2008 8:49AM The other day, I joined an instance group as DPS on my Feral druid.
I realized sometime during my always tank career that Feral Swiftness got nerfed. Kittys no longer get +30% move speed in doors.
I am furious! All melee classes need a way to catch up with running away mobs. What's a cat supposed to?
When did this happen? I'm thinking like patch 2.4.2, that's when I noticed it. Here's to hoping I didn't miss this change like 8 months ago ...

So I rolled a feral tank. Everyone needs a tank, eh?
My server population is so low no one is in LFG even for regular.

Since when is "You don't put forth effort to write your comment well" the best comeback to a flame?
Certainly, "Your momma" is a better comeback. Or, "You're dumb," hints at a saliant tit-for-tat flame comeback.
If you are gonna get trolled into a flame war, Let's see some creativity and originality people. If I have to read this stupid dreck not worthy of response, at least make it entertaining.

Aug 27th 2008 5:18PM Concerning the timing of the 3.0 patch, has anyone considered how this will affect Season 4?
It seems to me that completely changing class talents and balance and game mechanics in the middle of an arena season would be, well... unsportsmanlike.
I can hear the QQ quake from the future.
So, any guesses on when Arena 4 season will end?
Would Blizz end Season 4 early to drop their patch?
If hardcore Arena players had to pick: end Season 4 early or continue with brand new class talent trees, which would they chose? Its certain to piss anyone off regardless which way it goes.
Certainly, Arena Season 4 would be the one thing people could do straight up to the launch of the next expansion, why ruin it?
Perhaps there will be a short season 5 with the new talents?
What does everyone think?
(For clarity sake, I do not Arena, but I do think it will determine the timing of the patch)

Is it fair I can buy myself a second account and get 4 level 70's in the time of 1 by multiboxing (Not to mention bonus levels for alts)? (I still got to verify the possibilities of this...)
Is it fair that attunements got nerfed, or heroics allowed attunement at honored or that LOCKS are half as powerful as they were at launch of BC?
Is it fair druids get 1k gold forth of flying for 10g training?
BUT -- everyone can take advantage of this. That is fair.
Aug 6th 2008 2:07PM I think the game is imbalanced slightly in favor of melee.
This is because melee classes have more health and armor, which makes them doubly protected against melee damage -- whereas casters aren't.
I would like to see something done to help with this.
I see the spell pushback mechanic, however, as a way for melee to stave off crowd control from casters. No pushback on a lock's fears would not really help promote balance.... So I don't think this will solve the issue I'd like to see correcting.
I think effort would be better spent giving casters evasion abilities, like increased run speed for a short duration, blink (a great example), invisibility, chance to stun attacker when struck with a critical strike, etc.

Concerning stat homogenization ... it was brought up in previous article spellpower is a major boon to hybrids. Also, the theme continues as crossovers for bonus to spells and heals can come from AP (Pally talent)
Are they doing anything
to combine hit rating and spell hit rating into one thing?
to combine melee haste and spell haste into one stat?

You mentioned using two 2-hander weapons as causing rage starvation and not scaling well. (Especially AP not adjusted for attack time increase.)
Q1) How about a 2-hander in the main hand and a fast 1 hander (like a dagger) in the other for rage?
Q2) Does this talent let you wield a 2-hander in one hand and a shield in the other?
