Mar 28th 2012 9:06AM Honestly? The ONLY thing that excites me was Garrosh being taken out and the Warlock changes. Too bad the green fire won't be in game that alone almost made me want to sub again.
The issue overall of why nothing to me is really exciting is because of why console games aren't much anymore.
Games these days is ALOT like Madden. It's a different number slapped on almost the exact same product. In WoW's case I mean grats to the art team they did something fantastic. Boo to the talent folks for over vamping a working talent system but after 7 years it is same ol same ol with a twist.
I been playing WoW for 7 years and I mostly chat with my guidmates in Vent then play with their avatars because I work third and they don't. NOTHING is keeping me there cause the only reason I played WoW is because there wasn't anything else to do only to me.
Til SWTOR. Now I still chat with my guildmates and hang out with them but I play a game that has just enough change and style to make it if not fresh at least moreso than WoW.
I am just done with 7 years of Madden's WoW.
Mar 22nd 2012 3:00PM I am a casual player and frankly I don't hang with my friends in the game anyways. They tried SWTOR and most likely will go back when there is new content from WoW.
Me? What does WoW do for me? The exact same thing it has done the last 7 years off and on. Prob is I been playing foir 7 years and want something different. SWTOR filled that need and I can still 'hang' with my guild Brewhaus in vent anytime I want. I work thirds and can't raid so I hardly hang with them in WoW anyways the last 5 years. Wow, when I started my job Burning Crusade JUST came out. I have gotten married and divorce in that time.. whew where the time gone...
Regardless the only reason I'd buy the expansion would be to see Garrosh fall. That's sadly the only reason.
Maybe next expansion...
Mar 19th 2012 7:29PM All the secretive stuff for what?
1. The new female Panda model which I mean really does look good but to be secrative about for a week?
2. Garrosh being forcably removed as Warchief? I mean they gonna make Varian more noble and bringing back Thrall cause let's face it Thrall IS Horde.
I don't know. I am happily playing the Old Republic and I MIGHT stop in to check things out. I MIGHT sub for a few weeks and I MIGHT buy a copy to do so. But so many MIGHTS it just MIGHT not be worth the money at all.
In the end I just MIGHT wait til the next expansion when Thrall is back in place and we got the 'Kiss up to a certain Goverment' mentality out of our system. Oh yes I know I'll be marked down for stating that.
Mar 5th 2012 1:40PM WoW They actually pulled off a SWTOR moment of whoops! my Bad! Moment. LOL Leasts SWTOR is mostly over that sort of screw ups now.
Jan 24th 2012 1:37PM I am so glad I haven't had ANYWHERE the issues people had or that I was smart enough when a new patch comes out to find out I was lagging because the game switched to a lower resolution like the last patch did which oddly enough made the game run SLOWER!?
I REALLY hate how dual core processor got blamed for the delaying effect in the game when I added a gig of ram and it actually almost completely fixed the issue.
I heard the game was worked on in multiple countries and that was their first mistake. The coding is a slobbering mess they need to fix asap. period. IF they want this franchise to thrive. Bioware's stupidity is getting rather extreme. I hope they won't be called the second comming of SOE's Galaxies in the end.
Jan 11th 2012 7:52AM One more thing? To run the game well? It HAS to be near max settings. My rig runs WORSE on any other settings but near maxed ones. Try to wrap your widdle head around that one! O.o?
Jan 11th 2012 7:50AM Total BS.
MOST people playing the game well is from low end rigs from what the forums have said. I have a XP SP3 duo core 3.0 9800gt with 2 gigs of ram that; for the most part, runs the game just fine compared to the poor slobs with high end machines. Sure it stutters at first but it smooths out. Sure it resumes stuttering when I enter then leave an enclosed space sometimes but gfx settings change then change back usually always fixes it. (use astrotopic(?) for a quickj fix)
My rig is dated and it runs the game just about fine. I need more ram sure but otherwise it's ducky so I cry foul on that article.
Nov 9th 2011 10:13AM It is just because of the carrot in front of the cart thing ... as always. It will always be.
Want a solution?
ALL gear has Resilience.
Since battle grounds are based on multiple servers there should be normal/heroic/raid level kinds (based on ilevel) of Battlegrounds with only arenas and rated battlegrounds being for those raid ilevel of player base.
The ilevel gear can be obtained in 2 ways. Through PvE or PvP. The colors for PvE is Green tones for common, Blue for Rares and Purple for Epics. For PvP it should be White, Black and Red toned.
Due to transmogged the names would be the color and they should have a aura from the shoulders that denotes rank regardless of the skin used to show pride in one's collection. (however the aura only shows when you obtain the full set.)
This is my idea for a solution.
Nov 9th 2011 10:01AM Your kidding right Greg? People are bored to DEATH of 4.2 I mean even those who those who has things they COULD do (like me) just can't get motivated to remain til least 4.3. (to which I am more excited about then the new expansion sadly.
Blizzard has jumped the shark.
Oct 28th 2011 7:31PM You guys can mark me down all you want? Still it is what it is. Oh and Revynn? yeah I saw that right beside the comment about them thinking of not allowing Top tier being transmog because they wanted the art teams work to be shown off.
I am sorry you didn't catch that but that really isn't my problem.
