Blizzard's APIs and You: Cool information and tools coming down the pipe {WoW}

Jul 21st 2011 7:49PM Just a heads up on the auction house thing. There's a new site called ahspy.com that compiles near real time AH prices now. Tested it a bit but it hasn't had a chance to get much data from my server but it does track pretty well.

Arcane Brilliance: Beginner's guide to being a mage {WoW}

Jul 9th 2011 11:33PM Darn you Pants! You've gone and made me want to play a mage again! I left my original mage at 58 (an unfortunate naming issue on my part that I'm too embarrassed about and too cheap to fix). This time I think it will be a female blood elf though...

Arcane Brilliance: The mage survival guide, part 2 {WoW}

Feb 12th 2011 9:52PM Actually, being warlocks they would set fire to themselves were we not there but where's the fun in that right?

Interesting anecdote for you: Being new to WoW I was experimenting so I rolled a human pally on a noob server. While out questing I ended up running with a warlock since he kept aggroing mobs to me and getting me killed anyway. Long story short he kept saying, "We really need to group with a mage." So already grouping with a pally and a warrior weren't enough apparently. I immediately went back to my troll mage and haven't looked back.

Joystiq hands-on: Rock Band (Wii) {Joystiq}

Apr 15th 2008 11:57PM So, this all runs wirelessly then? Wow, I'm going to need more batteries... I think I'd like it better if I could use my Wii remote because I at least have rechargeable battery packs for those.

Wii Warm Up: Let's talk Rock Band (again) {Joystiq Nintendo}

Apr 3rd 2008 3:05PM I was pumped when I heard this comes out and now I'm kind of stuck. I want Rock Band but I don't want to have to buy a new console for it. Also, as said above that's just giving EA and Harmonix the money they want anyway. The answer isn't to buy it on the 360 it's not NOT BUY IT AT ALL. That said I have GH III for the Wii and I haven't gotten bored of it yet mainly because I'm working my way through the levels. The fact that the songs aren't changing doesn't bother me because I'm trying to beat my own scores and be a better player. With two other instruments to master I think this would keep me busy for awhile. THen when my friends who don't own the game already or don't have a console come over we can play through as a band. Still a fence rider though. We'll see about the extra songs and an official no to the custom characters.
