Jan 5th 2011 11:49AM I have far too many characters to list, but most (read:all) of my characters are somehow named after mythological figures. I tend to avoid the big names (i.e. Zeus, Thor, Isis, etc), partly due them generally being taken and partly due to the sheer crassness of naming a character after the King of the Gods (or queen, or whatever). Instead I favor the lesser known folks, for example:
My main (a troll shaman) is named Mundilfari, the name of the god who gave birth to the sun and moon, and the god of natural cycles, in Norse Mythology. Not only does the name sound vaguely trollish (Mundil'Fari), but the cyclical implications seem to fit a shaman.
Or, my newest character, a Worgen Priest, is named Larentia. Acca Larentia is the foster mother of Romulus and Remus. The nuturing and protecting implication seems to fit a priest, plus bonus points for being the adoptive parent of a set of twins who were raised by wolves...

Jan 3rd 2011 12:04PM Fairly certain I missed this one, but I really want it, so I'll try anyway....
Jan 3rd 2011 12:03PM Probably still won't get it, but still neat.
Jan 3rd 2011 12:02PM Already have one of the three, but I could always give Shattering to a friend.

Dec 31st 2010 11:32AM Been wanting to pick one of these up, but winning one would be better then buying... Or maybe I'll buy a second one if I win... Hrm... Decisions...
Dec 31st 2010 11:30AM Not the most impressive of the prizes so far, but still kinda neat.
Dec 28th 2010 11:54AM Not really something I want, but my fiance would practically melt if I gave her this...
