Dec 15th 2011 12:35PM Yay! Random robo-gift-giving goodness!
May 16th 2011 10:40PM Is Silithus ugly? Yes. Annoyingly unchanged? Pretty much. However, most people will have to spend at least SOME time in the zone purely for the cooking recipe quest, since getting the Sandworm meat is a heck of a lot easier to get than all the extra Zesty Clam Meat needed for getting out that very last Cooking point OR managing to find the necessary raw fish on the AH.

Make the trip. It's worth it!
Oct 19th 2010 9:51AM Based on the cinematic, I only have one question...
When did Blizzard hire Roland Emmerich, director of "The Day After Tomorrow", "2012", "Independence Day", to direct their cinematics?
Jul 8th 2010 7:45PM You do realize that there is a simple reason why you won't see anything like playable furbolgs, centaurs, dryads or naga, right? Because if would be too bloody hard to adapt the use of armor for them. Remember that none of those races even USE armor (or clothes, for that matter), while goblins and worgen (shifted humans) always did.
Jun 16th 2010 12:19AM Much agreement, although you forgot about the "Fan" crying after dropping his bottle and deciding to fill his diapers instead. XD
Jan 19th 2010 12:13PM Perhaps the way to get rid of bleed-over lag would be to, once and for all, land Dalaran. After all, when there was all the population in Shattrath City, was there a similar lag sharing with Terrokkar Forest?
Oct 6th 2009 1:23PM I'd say that the point here is that the "inflation" of quest rewards and the "deflation" of repairs & AH fees would likely cancel each other out, no?
Oct 6th 2009 1:21PM Obviously, there is a limit to how much you can compare the two forms of economies, the real and the virtual. After all, in the real economy, goods do not disappear forever from the economy, just because they are sold to a vendor. Furthermore, goods and resources are obviously not perpetually renewable as things like nodes, herbs and beasts are in the game.
Now, if the focus were to be strictly on comparing Auction House activity and marketable goods, then we would have the basis for a better way to compare.
Sep 14th 2009 12:06PM In this column, you wondered about ways for having the guilds that have done certain acheivements to stand out. I would like to offer one (rather obvious) suggestion.
In the Argent Tourney, participants have the option to purchase a banner of the city that they represent as Champion. I suggest that it would be fairly easy for Blizzard to institute a similar option for succesful guilds. Imagine a guildie organizing a meeting of the guild by unfurling a banner at their meeting. That way, everyone would be able to see that a guild is meeting there.
As an alternative, what about a special "Guildie summon" tool, similar to Warlock portals or meeting stones, where someone could invoke an object and summon guildmates to where they are.
