Some Paladin nerfs to go live before 3.0.3 {WoW}

Oct 28th 2008 6:57PM Still wouldn't matter unless Blizzard made a change to allow spirit to enable regen for Paladins in the same way as other classes. At the moment, spirit is a wasted talent for paladins. It is the same for non-Arcane Mages - like me - (and other classes I'm sure) that can only regen mana (save for Evocation) if using Mage Armor at the expense of output (which I don't mind). At present Pallies have no such option.

Therefore, Spirit is a useless stat for Pallies.

That was in reply to Naix's complete misread (intentional or otherwise) of the post he/she replied to.

Oct 28th 2008 12:24PM I repeat:

"And the +spirit will do what exactly?

The only time spirit gets a chance to do anything is when we're out of the FSR.

Pallies have no ability to regen mana through spirit unlike some other classes so spirit is a bit useless."

Or usign slightly different wording, Pallies have no regen ability that is connected to spirit in the way that will regen mana while in a fight. Which makes them stacking spirit instead of say, strength (*or pretty much any other stat really), a pointless task.

May 11th 2008 10:57AM Your work schedule would work well within my guild.
We don't demand players spend a specific amount of time a day, week or month.
Only that if someone says their going to come then they are expected to actually come. If they're only able to be on for a certain period of time for a raid all they need to do is tell us before it. If you can't raid for a week or maybe not til the next month that's fine with us - you just don't sign up for any raids until you're able.

We are not an elitest bunch, in fact we have members that have never set foot in Kara let alone Gruul,TK or SSC.

There's no forcing anyone to do anything they don't wish to do outside of filling out a little 2-min application. We still run Kara to gear up those who still need it so gear isn't a major thing with us either, just a good attitude (which you seem to have) and some loyalty to your fellow guildies.
