Jan 20th 2011 9:16AM ... Even if you do do the argent tournament dailies as soon as they become available and they do provide enough experience by the time you've reached the title that you'd end up being 82 are you seriously sugesting that you would log on, do those dailies then log off again?
I'm pretty sure most people savvy enough and committed enough to farm that title from the moment it's availble would also find themselves with time enough left over after the dailies to mosey on over to do normal non-daily quests... thus not skipping so much anymore.
Jan 11th 2011 8:49AM I don't have any disapointment with the new content at all tbh. I think the new zones have been done very well and the revisited zones have had their questing experiences very much improved.( so far)
I do sometimes feel however that there seems to be a shortage of content. I realise there are about as many new zones as there have been in previous expansions but there are other things that feel missing. We don't have a new city i suppose is one.
Orgrimmar and stormwind have had amazing facelifts that more than compensates for it but because they're accessable without the expansion and we got them before hand it almost doesn't feel a part of it. (I am glad we're not in some neautral city though)
I'm a bit disapointed by fishing. There's nothing really new. I got the crab pet on my first week of fishing dailies and maxed the skill on day four of the expansion to help get the guild achievement but then what? No sewer rats, no coins with lore-related tidbits, no water based mount nothing to do but fish for cooking and the cooking recipes that use fish aren't even that great, for casters you mostly want sagefish which don't even have a pool. :( Which is a shame because for the decent cooking recipe that uses fish you need to fish 10,000 pools in the same expansion where none of the fishing dailies even require the use of pools. Bad times! Even the decent recipe(seafood magnifique or whatever) uses a fish I believe that is from open water. :S
Also a bit disapointed by the revamped warlock soul shard mechanic, i guess it's nice to have a bag to put hats in rather than soul shards but I always said the system wasn't worth changing unless they were going to make it more fun/interesting and in the end it feels like they just did it to give us the bag space due to whining. :S
The expansion is fine really but i do wonder where all the fun stuff and it does often feel like, now i've hit 85 and started gearing up, there doesn't actually seem much to do, can't even grind guild rep because it caps. I'm also not keen on the way all gear looks the same as was set to be standard procedure in wrath but at least casters have got a decent hat this time rather than having to spend ten levels with head gear switched off because blizzard thought clothies should wear gimp-masks!
On a sidenote, I loved vashjirihjh, i tend to think of it as three zones rather than one massive one as others do but i found the pacing to be perfect and far more interesting than Hjal was. I'm not sure whether it's more or less fun depending on whether you're a ranged class or a melee class though as I can see running it on a warrior or rogue might be irritating but I found it great fun, the story, the quests, the lore, the whole shibang!
In short: "Cataclysm is good but for some reason i am left wanting!"
Dec 16th 2010 8:33AM "Don't equate luck to skill, anyone can get hacked."
Don't equate someones bad luck as being everyone elses destiny.
The authenticator is a tool, a useful tool too but not a tool that i personally need and I get a bit bored with people telling me it is necessary or "imperative"
I shall reiterate that all i'd have to gain from it would be the pet.
Dec 16th 2010 8:29AM I know I must have missed something somewhere but what does Ogri'la have to do with winter veil?
Dec 15th 2010 5:10AM Urgh. Sorry about typos. :(
Dec 15th 2010 5:09AM WHy am i always being told that i MUST have an authenticator to play this game?
I've been palying for 6 years and a modicum of common sense appears to have gotten me through without getting hacked once... I might get the authenticator for the pet but otherwise i hardly consider it an "imperative"... It's not hard to have more than one password.
Nov 25th 2009 3:49AM I thought they added a female ogre(Hallow's end) mask to the game-files shortly after the Worgen and Goblin ones were added?
Nov 17th 2009 3:23AM Oh one more question!
I know you've answered questions on the WoW.com comments system in the past but what is the point in the "Remember Me" tick box?
This website has never once succesfully managed to remember me!
Nov 17th 2009 3:21AM Are you suggestiong the Hefner is comaprable to a god?
Nov 17th 2009 3:20AM Cataclysmic flight training? Elemental flight training? Meh! Who knows. The question has been answered i believe.
As to what we call Cata... we call it Cata. I've seen so many people calling ti that by now that to call it anything else would just be odd. Especially Cat... seeing as that is an actual word for something else, Cata adds that extra "A" that makes it clear what it is you're trying to talk about.
Also I think people will find it easier to type Cata in a pinch and in the various chats than "Clysm" due to keyboard geography, you don't even need to take your hand of the mouse.
