May 27th 2008 4:32PM This could be an off-kilter purchase for me. I really enjoyed Ninja Gaiden on the original Box, and the new one looks and sounds stunning, but I'm a total n00b at it and the difficulty gets to me at times, to the point where I just won't touch the game for weeks once I get stuck.
May 27th 2008 11:04AM I don't own a 360 yet, but I've watched RvB many times and it's been nothing short of a waste of time for me.
Obviously you skimmed my profile page, but you lack context. I dislike 80s pop bands, silly peripherals that are made purely to milk the cash cow of a popular game franchise, and bad machinima. That's what's been in the news the past 24 hours, so that's what I commented on.
P.S. It's not called WoWFanboy.
May 27th 2008 10:38AM Please explain how news about a rather overrated machinima enhances or informs me about my XBox 360 gaming experience.
May 27th 2008 1:37AM Why release good DLC when you can release crap and people will still eat it up?
May 27th 2008 1:35AM @ Xav
I've read this website for a week (I'm getting an XBox 360 after finally getting tired of my seven year old PS2), and here's the article pattern I've seen
Halo 3, Incredible Hulk, Halo 3, Gears of War 2, Rock Band, Halo 3, Rock Band, Gears of War 2, Halo 3, Resident Evil 5, Halo 3.
May 27th 2008 1:24AM Much agreed. I love Rock Band, and even I wouldn't buy this.
I mean, exactly what is going through the head of someone who forks over $100 for this? "Great! I can be blinded and smoked to death so I can't see the screen, but who cares! It's a STAGE KIT!"
May 26th 2008 4:44PM There's one week I won't be downloading any DLC! I'd rather have my face beat in by apes than listen to Whip It.
May 26th 2008 10:10AM That makes no sense from Microsoft's business perspective. They still would have to pay the third parties like Namco for their licenses, and making no money off of one game per month per Live account would cut into Microsoft's pockets. On top of that, there'd be tons of Live accounts that wouldn't use the credit.
I prefer just making a price cut on some of these games. With today's economy it's difficult to justify an 800 point investment in a silly 2D game, so slap a discount on the underperforming titles and continue to make money off of them. Pac-Man and the like are arcade staples, it seems kind of silly to even have an arcade listing without them.
May 24th 2008 11:47PM "zombies love cranberry sauce"
That's an awful reference, bonus points to anyone who gets it.
May 23rd 2008 6:40PM It's a cool add-on, but I actually prefer having to find my own quests and what-have-you. I would definitely consider installing this, but I would probably leave it turned off until I found myself totally unable to figure out my next quest step.
