The Light and How to Swing It: Patch 3.1 and you {WoW}

Apr 12th 2009 11:58PM If you sold your account why are you still look at and posting on WoW related sites?

The Light and How to Swing It: Patch 3.1 and you {WoW}

Apr 12th 2009 11:58PM Since I've seen some posts that have said they are NOT talking about PvP so I'll go with that... I have to ask why you would gem for expertise at all? My ret set isn't the best in the world, but it lets me dish out 3700-4000 average DPS in 25 Naxx and has plenty of expertise on it as it is to really prevent the rare time I'm attacking a boss from the front, and keep me from getting parried by trash. And at least the way I geared, earlier on I had even more expertise so I really don't see why you'd gem expertise over STR?

And if we're talking about Prot well with the glyph of vengeance and the stuff from gear you can easily hit the soft cap without even trying.

Of course if this does have all to do with PvP... well uh.. what's pee vee pee again?

The Light and How to Swing It: Patch 3.1 and you {WoW}

Apr 12th 2009 7:59PM Unfortunately I can see Prot getting nerfed a bit once we make it live because of PvP reasons. Hopefully we'll still do such horrible damage and be lead around like a child by any skilled kiter that they'll leave the PvE spec alone.

Select Tier 8 set bonuses updated in latest PTR build {WoW}

Mar 23rd 2009 10:27PM Compared to the DK and Warrior 4 piece bonus, the Prot bonus is VERY lackluster. Paladins are basically getting two threat bonuses with a small mitigation effect which makes it more trash tanking than anything. While warriors are getting a flat 20% deduction to spell damage while their shield block is up.

Spiritual Guidance: PTR loot and hymns that will never be seen in game {WoW}

Mar 8th 2009 8:49PM It favors Disc Priests and Paladins who heal for a higher amount at once. Currently a high end paladin healer will be healing 13-17k a holy light. Meaning their shields will be stronger than others.

Patch 3.1 PTR Ulduar/Emblem of Conquest Gear for Warriors {WoW}

Mar 7th 2009 5:56PM This is less of a warrior specific change than a warrior/paladin change. Ret paladins are use str/sta two handers so this is a pretty big change for them as well.

Around Azeroth: This egg is hatching into something {WoW}

Mar 7th 2009 3:25PM I gotta go with the follow up.

"It's been a long time since I've seen a prot warrior on my server, and I fear they're in danger of extinction if we don't find some way to accelerate their breeding."

So are you volunteering to help speed up the breeding process? *wiggles eyebrows*

The Light and How to Swing It: What dual specs mean for the class {WoW}

Feb 14th 2009 5:05PM Being able to switch between Ret and Prot for my two different raids will save me a fortune, and dishing out some extra damage when I'm not tanking things like Thaddius or what not will make things smoother all around.

Larger default backpack "very possible" in the future {WoW}

Feb 10th 2009 2:33AM Don't make it removable or deletable. Just make it scale with levels. 2 slots every 15 levels.

The Light and How to Swing It: Shine on! A 2008 review part II {WoW}

Jan 1st 2009 4:18PM If you're sitting there tanking while waiting for your cooldowns to come up. You aren't doing it right. With the paladins new 69696 rotation, they're constantly managing their cooldowns so that no matter when GCD is up, there's an ability to press.
