Sep 16th 2009 6:50PM I'd like to have me a go at dem headsets
thank you very much
Sep 14th 2009 3:00PM It's a really good case study, but a crying shame that the article says WoW created the mmporg genre. That really cuts into the credibility of the article.
Jul 26th 2009 3:54PM I just wanted to write in and say I've been in the _exact_ same situation: constantly tanking druid main and shaman alt (and priest alt, and paladin alt, and hunter alt) and I have to agree: the pugs are the easiest when tanking. Especially with a tank that has high DPS (druid in TBC, the rest of the classes afterwards).
Jul 16th 2009 1:08PM I hate it when the competitions I actually would want to participate in are for US/Canada only... >_
May 30th 2009 3:45PM I hope 2.0 comes out soon with a proper design. This game has serious flaws, I got insane lag already at lvl 10 (apparently it doesn't like it when I fire too fast)..
Jan 9th 2009 2:23AM I was gonna post a long rant about how this article isn't really completely accurate, but then I saw hiitgy already did that.
The same can be said about the DPS meters aswell. Never underestimate the usefulness of a well-tuned Recount ;)
Dec 17th 2008 6:16PM I'd love to have my own profile with a nice avatar and all that Jazz. But during the many times I've glanced over the site, I've never been able to find a "login" or "register" -link, so I just haven't bothered with it. I like the articles and I do comment on occasion, but if the registration and login are hidden, I won't bother looking for them; I'm just here for the articles, not to hack the site.
Dec 15th 2008 2:54PM It just goes to show that some people are decent and think of others while some people just focus on themselves.
Having said that, I do love these guys putting such a high value on their own time that they have the nerve to complain about the contents of a blog. =D
"This is mildly interesting... but why is it on wowinsider again?"
"You have got to be kidding me? You wrote an entire article on this? "
"Are you seriously wasting bandwidth with this crap?"
Ahh, yes. The expensive commodity of the modern age - bandwidth. I do feel priviledged not having to pay for the download the comments/pictures.
Back on topic; clearly this issue stirs up feelings aswell as discussion. I would've written a longer reply on the actual topic, but I felt the essence of it would've been closer to the general discussion about carebears and not regarding this particular transaction.
Perhaps it is time for a lengthy blog article about carebears and social skills?
Nov 16th 2008 8:31AM I didn't buy wrath just yet. I usually play this game mainly with a bunch of RL friends, who all play more and level faster than me. Only one of those friends levels at the same rate as I, so we're just rerolling newbies for now. Gonna head off to Northrend with some of our lvl 70s in a month or so. We traded the frustration of having know-it-all "pros", from previous end-game, commanding us in Northrend for know-it-all freshmen in the lower lvl 20s telling us off for suggesting bringin a healer.
Sometimes I get confused about why pugging is such a large part of the game.. =)
