Nov 3rd 2009 1:24AM You know, you sure ripped your reader a new one, but how do we know that this isn't happening among other members in the raid either?
Or are we supposed to not care about that because as raid leaders when we set the rules we assume no one else is playing us or the rules?
I say you got a tad high-n-mighty here against dear reader.

My comments should not be construed as me not liking the current story arc. I think it's supposed to make people take stock of what they both think and feel about the way their leaders are conducting their affairs. One of the great debates of WoW is 'Which Faction is more evil" .. these events play right into this largely player maintained ideal.
If I put myself in the alliance shoes, I find myself agreeing with Jaina's leadership, and being further alienated by Wrynn's seemingly brash, revengeful attitudes. His actions remind me a lot of another Prince, and eventual King of the Human kingdoms who's fear, hatred and lust for war and revenge drove him to madness - and to eventually become one of the greatest enemies to all living beings.
I for one have really enjoyed this story arc with the leaders of the Horde and Alliance.
It is great they way they are making people look around and evaluate their leaders actions - just like the real world.
Oct 30th 2009 12:42PM And I think this is why most Hordies are reluctant to simply follow Garrosh... we've grown with Thrall, we've seen his plight, and it has softened many of our views on War, and this conflict with the Alliance. We rather work an uneasy truce then remain at full war with the allies.. at least, this is how I feel.. there are greater threats to the Horde, and Alliance that our mutual hate of one another. So Garrosh represents a sort of de-evolution of the way weve come to think and feel about our Faction, and Thralls leadership.
Oct 30th 2009 12:37PM Well, we have to face it, Thrall has finally softened at Jainas insistence. He's seen, and come to realize that a never ending war with the alliance won't solve anything.. and maybe this is why he'll step aside and hand leadership to Garrosh - Face it, Thrall has gone soft as it were, and his prowess for spotting his enemies has lessened.. When you first start as a hordie, Thrall is keenly aware of the Burning Blades infiltration of the Horde, but by time you reach Northrend, he's entirely unaware that Putress has allied with evil, and betrays both the Horde and Alliance. And very few in the Horde saw it coming, including Garrosh.
There will likely be something that Wrynn does (in his own reckless hatred and need for revenge - which is just as dangerous) to provoke the Horde on such a scale as to prove Thrall ineffectual at leading the Horde any longer - I don't think this will come about as Garrosh userping Thralls power, as Thrall realizing that he's no longer fit to lead the Horde in the throws of a war. Garrosh, for his incompetence, still has that old school horde attitude of ; It is a good day to die. And facing the new threads of cataclysm, we can ill afford a leader who has gone soft, and lost his touch.
Oct 29th 2009 9:46PM I like it, it's like the Arena of PvE.. same exact concept, log in, queue up, get your gear.
Rinse repeat -WOO
Oct 29th 2009 11:39AM From a female no less.. Methinks she's probably upset that she can't attention whore it up with "LOOKIT ME IMA GIRL IRL" with so many Males as Female avatars around.
Oct 29th 2009 11:33AM All my 8 characters are females actually.. I've never rolled a Male character in WoW.
Mostly don't like that Males all look like they have testosterone poisoning, but more than that, Being a huge fan of Anime and Manga - strong female leads are the norm, so I tend to gravitate towards that concept.

Oct 28th 2009 12:05PM My favorite macros..
And no, I don't macro Runestrike into my normal attacks.
Also handy is
/castsequence Mind freeze, Strangulate
Since they have vastly different CD's you can pretty effectively macro these two abilities to a single key. If one is on CD, it'll use the next.
